So you don’t need to unlock bootloader in 5.1.1 update to root the phone ?
If you want custom Recovery then only Unlocking bootloader is necessary ?
BTW i think you can use Xposed just with Root , you don’t need unlocked bootloader for that
Also Please try to install Viper4aandroid and tell me how the sound quality improves ?

If i am not wrong, for Viper4android you need to flash it through recovery?

no just find appropriate apk for latest 5.1.1 lollipop and just install it normally and follow instructions.

Just received the phone yesterday but arrrrgh, grrrrr my SIM is not inserting.
Both my Vodafone and Airtel SIMs are regular SIMs obtained some time back but this phone requires microSIM only.
Guess I have to now change both my SIMs in order to use this phone.

Instead of getting the sim replaced and pay 25rs per sim get a sim cutter, available easily for 70-100rs. I use that to cut my normal sims to micro sim.

Arey… Is this spice flip cover really custom built? I couldn’t get my mobile into the case. The mobile is almost 10mm thick but the case is hardly 4mm deep. What is their strategy here? Anyone?

My observation is that they are bringing in stock at exactly at the start of every hour or every 30 mins

My successful order today was made at 4.00 pm. unsuccessful one was at 12.00 pm (some of the dimers can also share today orders booking time so that we can help out other dimers)

We can try our luck harder in these times to place order.
