CM Official versions are more stable, since lollipop (CM12.1) was the last official cm version out, you can blindly go for it. CM 13 (Marshmallow) Official version is yet to be released. I ‘m waiting for it. Unofficial CM13 versions are already available. But I’m waiting for the official version for the 1st gen andriod one phones (sprout).
I don’t get the point why do you wanna go for kitkat when the latest better stable version is available.

Hello guys i am getting low space error message , even tried to format my class 10 sandisk ultra memory card as internal but still same issue can anyone explain how to downgrade to kitkat .
Someone asked me the same question in pm so I’m posting it here too.
Download the tool, connect your phone via pc, unlock bootloader and flash recovery using the tool.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev...
When you connect your phone to pc, start the tool, click unlock bootloader and you will see the steps mentioned in the tool box itself. Same is with flashing recovery.
Download kitkat rom as per your choice. I prefer CM11 from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev...Download gapps which is google applications:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/%3Ffid=95916177...copy both the files to your phone sd card. Switch off your phone. Press power +vol up button. You will see a bootloader function, from vol up button select “recovery” press volume down button to select. You will boot into recovery
Select wipe all in recovery, than select install- choose the CM11.zip and Gapps.zip, click proceed. It will flash kitkat. Reboot-wait for 10mins and you will boot into kitkat. Ping me if you stuck anywhere.
Instead of CM 11 can i install stock Kitkat ? Do you have link to it ?
Is usb cable enough or need any other tool ?
All stock roms zip which can be flashed via custom recovery.

Why don’t you guys downgrade to CM 12.1 (lollipop 5.1.1) which is also very stable with nearly zero bugs. I downgraded to the same and running everything on it including xposed framework & Viber4andriod audio …
Maybe but some other day. Now its time to play safe & go for the one which was absolutely working fine so looking for kitkat
CM12.1 beta 5 is as stable as the stock rom. You better try that before flashing Kitkat. Thank me later.
Does anybody know where to find the battery for this mobile on the web??

I don’t find much of a difference in these three days. The device heats up a lot still.
WiFi connects immediately like it did in L. That’s the only positive change I noticed so far.

Try to factory reset ( all contents of the phone will be gone) as all the issues are fixed with me. No more battery drainage, getting 4-5hours sot with 15-18hours standby. No device heatup for me.
