Hi thanks for the info. Just now ordered and cancelled after speaking to customer care as Amazon themselves are not sure what is the capacity .. because of conflicting info..

is this original/genuine or flipkart is original one?
i know flipkart is authorised to sell in India, not sure amazon we will get manufacturer warranty in India or not?

By the way, the packing is not at all matching to any of the videos in the YouTube :shock
- wax paper sheet – NO
- hologram with serial number under a scratch sticker – NO
- Round edged packing – NO
- few showed a transparent plastic box packing – NO

Read somewhere that the Mi Power Banks warranty is not available at any service centre till date as they are not equipped to handle those problems. One can download the list of service centres & call them for further info.

You are lucky that it is amazon fulfilled or even better that Amazon is the platform you purchased from !! Better to return and buy a genuine one !

But gift card discount is available on pysical festive cards and not on email purchased gift cards. so by the time gift card gets delivered powerbank will get out of stock .

It’s not fake. The importer is Shree trade International which was selling on Amazon. There are couple of fake tests post available online to check. Don’t go by the label or the 20 digit product code. The 20 digit product code is not available anymore even if you order from Flipkart.

Genuine – The MicroUSB cable included with genuine Mi Power Banks does NOT carry any Mi branding. If you see one with Mi printed on it, it is a fake. The genuine cable also has a black interior in the standard USB port.

Pass-Through Charging

Genuine: The original Mi Power bank supports pass-through charging. What it means that the power bank will also charge a mobile phone connected to it while it itself is being charged. Only necessity is that the input charger must supply enough power and as such, charging via a PC’s USB Port will not help.

Ahh common that post is not valid in India anymore. Check my post above and compare the images online for real vs fake. You purchased it from Amazon which sells by third party, how come you expect it to mention the price sticker as of Flipkart which is 999rs. The sticker on the box is printed by the seller.

it has passed all the tests except the sticker.

Main issue is with regards warranty. Who will give the warranty, if at all?
