if i were in your place and planning to buy from olx or quickr then i would have preferred a seller from my own city, contact him over phone, fix up a meeting place with cash in hand, inspect sealed box and then hand him over the money.
See olx is just a listing platform and not a payment gateway like ebay so your payments are not secured by any other third party. rest upto you
