you ate absolutely right,take the case when a friend had to redeem a coupon from other friends phone,then after both the phones will be treated as a single device.

they’re basically tracking your device ID. You can use apps which can change device ID and you’ll be good to go..
they are not tracking the imei/andrioid id and all. the are doing some unethical ways to identify a device..

Since last three time I observed that if I have used promo code on 1 device getting error on 2nd device even having every thing different.
Guys from now onwards use only one account on a device,u can bypass device check by rooting and changing device I’d then log from the other account(there are tutorials on how to change device I’d),let’s see how they will tackle this also I am quitting their wallet usage they are not even worth using with these kinds of cheap tracking system(they have bunch of netsurfers out there to monitor us,cheapest company I have ever seen)

I have the latest version of mobikwik and yes it does give ‘enter OTP’ option after the 60 second timer finishes.
Your registered mobile no. (with Mobikwik) should be present within the mobile device thru which you are trying to use the OTP. Otherwise it doesn’t work.
Not necessary.. Your sim can be in other phone as well.. After 60 seconds, ‘Enter OTP’ option appears in which you can manually type in the otp you received in some other mobile.. I did it just now on v5.0..
Incase your registered mobile no (with mobidick) sim is in your phone, you won’t have to wait 60 seconds, as soon as sms arrives, app automatically takes code from it and redirects you to enter promocode..
Exactly. If u check the permissions in v 5 vs 4 the one major change is SMS access. And yes they do track device ID plus other parameters.
Plus I maybe wrong abt this but I think in version 5.0 they implemented new logic to detect whether emulators were being used & prevent coupon redemption. (Thats why I stuck to 4 although with the ban on Maestro I am not able to make a proper check)Atleast thats what I understood perusing SMI site.
Worked on two actual devices (Tab & Phone). Did not work on Youwave. Keep getting “send valid OTP” messages.

1. entered OTP first time, entered promo, “send valid OTP” msg
2. Cleared App data, logged in, entered OTP, entered promo, “send valid OTP” msg
2. Logged out, cleared data, logged back in, entered OTP, promo, “send valid OTP”
Did not make a fourth attempt with OTP.
Will try with another account, using Android-X86 and see if it works. Will report back here.
In the meantime, anyone have any ideas as to what else I could try on Youwave?

I have added 42rs in my wallet , but when I tried to apply coupon for it shows me " invalid card used in last transaction "

Version 4.4.1. Yeah logging out has worked for me in the past, but not this time. Will try in another account using AndrdX86 and then try again with youWave couple of hours later.

personally i feel mobikwik is the only fraud company who got an rbi approval for storing poor indian consumers money.. am sure this is a scam…
