Mobikwik & FC will be able to differentiate between CC/DC, VCC and GC.

And we can’t get discount and cashback on these website. Where CC/DC only allowed for discount and cashback.

VCC will definitely not work. GC is as good as CC/DC as right now these sites are not actively blocking GCs. So you should be able to use GC on these sites to get CB but I would suggest trying it out once.

There is an algorithm, don’t remember the name, which identifies and validates CC/DC and I guess that same or some similar algo identifies a VCC as well.

AFAiK, GCs should work on these sites for discounts and CB until every dimer starts using GC on100s of accts , in which case they will also be blocked, if there is an algo or something else which identifies GCs as well.

I was able to use to use AMEX GCs on Mobi for a short while when they worked on that site and got CB.

There is no such algorithm to check for the Virtual Cards though the algorithm to check CC/DC is Luhn Algorithm.

I had Axis GC last year and tried to redeem Axis bank 25% CB coupon and i didn’t received the CB from FC. Received the mail invalid card used. Don’t remember the exact msg in mail.

Please email them that you bought the xoxo vouchers only for ordereing the AMEX/HDFC card as they can be only bought via XOXO vouchers and as the payment option has been removed ask them to refund all the xoxo vouchers you bought.They might consider enabling the redemption option.

when we get some discount offers on flipkat – amazon vouchers, then we can redeem xoxo vouchers. they give 3 – 4 % discount on these vouchers.

These vouchers are valid for 6 months. You can buy HDFC or Amex Card during that period. It would be very difficult to get a refund for Gift Cards. Keep things simple and don’t be greedy.
