OMG, just now saw from today i am getting very low speeds … aroud 2mbps in band 3 and 1 mbps in band 5

I also bought at karamana store but they have not activated mine for 8 days bcz of TN proof:(:(:(

Got new flame2 but didn’t got any update for the phone as everyone said that battery will improve with a Ota update. But i have not got that..

in trivandrum

if you has TN Id card will it be accepted in kerala for taking mobile connection? ( just enquire) , i think you must need a local addres( ID with kerala address) of kerala in order to take kerala connection

if TN ID is acceptable you plz tell jio shop , you came from TN to Kerala just to take Jio sim , they might give you special priority ( it all depends on customer executive of the shop that you are talking with)

Then you can see the engineer mode.

Select Band Mode select the Band which u want to enable/disable

If u want speed Disable LTE-FDD BAND3/BAND5

If u want more battery life Disable LTE-TDD BAND40

you have to reboot the phone to apply the change.

Please press & hold the power key for 10sec for automatic reboot.

On 19 July 2016

Morning reached Kollam (there also it was oos).

Then went to Tiruvalla (Pathanamthitta District ), cross junction Reliance Xpress mini store and got it

Only 3 flame 2 was left there at the store and it was sold in just 30 minutes. (1 for me )

I reached the store @1:45 pm

Gave my 3 Reliance digital gift card worth
Rs. 1000 each and paid 500 in cash.

They were redeeming gift card for first time

Took 30 min at store .
Gave 1 passport photo.
Driving licence copy.

got tele verified @2:40 pm

I am just puzzled. 3 months is diff for diff purchases. Like for you it is three month from date YOU purchased and mine will be diff. I bought 1 month back. People will buy even after today (maybe for another few months) so is it that along with commercial launch due in Aug, the preview plan will continue for eligible users??

He was asking for local id proof or any other persons local address with name. I gave my owner number and address. they said they will call him and check whether i am staying here. But he was slight hesitant actually to go without local proof. My current status also like local verification pending as per that shop guy:(

I called them, they say install myjio app and click submit then only it will be activated
but for that IMEI needs to be changed of my phone and root it needed
and i have sony xperia z3+ dual which cannot be rooted without unlocking bootloader which i dnt wanna do
so maybe the sim is just a waste now

I called that store guy he was telling that he has completed everything from his side and it is customer care side who has to verify and send the message to the store guy to activate the sim then only he will be able to activate the sim. I bought the mobile on 13th actually. By that time it was available only in 2 store and limited stock. I think they dint activate bcz of other state id issue

they got tele verified by local address soon.

check with ur house owner to attend call and also ask Jio cust care to do it asap..
