its quite simple … one of my friend gave me a bar code and yesterday i went to reliance express… told him that i have samsung bar code he said do u have phone i said no … then he said sir give me your id proof, bar code and photo, after that he gave me a sim … and told me that it will be activated by tomorrow , in the evening today i got activation msg … i put that sim in my non volte mob redmi 2 prime and tried the tele verification but call was not connecting , i called my friend who has redmi note 3 … i put the sim in his mob and called on my number the call transferred to tele verification and i successfully verified my jio sim then i put that sim in my redmi 2 prime … and using 4g flawlessly … the only prob is we can’t make a call with out volte set .

edit : one more thing my friend also generated the bar code for rn3 after using mine sim in his mobile

How do i make Reliance guy to give me the Jio SIM without have to showing them phone ? I have generated the barcode from friend’s samsung device but now he is out of town for few days .

LOL happened. Mailed about this whole incident to lyf and rel digital and got a call from their zonal sales manager stating apology and to give them an opportunity to serve them. He asked me to go to their store today . As I haven’t have the phone yet so that will be exciting …. Freebie to kuch le ke hi rahenge ya discount .
