No yellowish or red tint from the pics. Looks fine to me.

My redmi note 3 is overheating. Even without playing any games or doing something which would require such use of processor or battery. Anyone else facing this issue?

I bought one 32GB from olx. No problem in the phone whatsoever except heating.

I am not playing any games. Single SIM. I just added a google account. Checked “about phone:”. Clicked two pics. Played a song on speaker and on handsfree. Made a call. Total 15 mins and it is heating like anything.

I checked for any app which is causing battery drainage and causing the heating. But accept the OS itself there is no other app using more battery.

I have no clue how to stop this. If I talk more than 10 minutes I think I cannnot keep phone on my ears.

Better to get the phone replaced if seller got from Amazon. Do not know if MI folks will replace the set, as they may repair the same.

Any good VR that can be used with this phone… ?

Try taking photo of white page or wall and check. Your images are already having yellow desk and a hand which has pale character.

Another problem detected this is first time i charged as battery got down, i kept it for charging for 3 hours and when i came back and removed the charger the phone switched off. So this means there is some problem with charging too.

Could be an issue with the camera application. Try Opencamera App. You can control the light effect (natural/tungsten/florescent etc)

You already getting a replacement. No point in keep testing the camera. Let us know how’s the replacement unit. It seems a lot of Mi phs are defective. That’s the cost when you want the cheap ph with a good hardware. Out of 10 phs, from my point of view 2-3 are defective.

@cody this is definitely because of dual flash present in note 3 which looks more natural as compared to the white harsh flash of 1s. Try clicking picture outdoor with both phones without flash in day light. That will be fare comparison

Because of this reason, I still haven’t bought this phone. There are almost 80% negative reviews for this phone on amazon. I will wait for the reviews of LeEco Le 2 which has Helio X20.
