I RECEIVED A CALL FROM GREENDUST …
They are returning the money… they are giving the excuse … they don’t have it in stock.

THEY DON"T HAVE B@LLS to give it..

Even i received a call telling me that the stock is over. I did not agree for a refund. They said they will check with their higher-ups and call me back. Lets see…

I had this feeling that some goof up may happen. 87 sounded too good to be true even for a factory second. I have always been wary of sites like yebhi and greendust and never ordered anything from them. I think banning of posts from these sites would help maintain the standards of the forum and prevent new gullible guys from future shocks like these.

I too think it’s about time Desidime banned Greendust as well. Many could fall a prey to this scam (Sham as well!).Desidime is publicising GreenDust for free while they fail to honour the deal as per their whims & fancies. This is the second such instance! Some of us may not even be aware that they sell factory second defective/ refurbished products. So I too request our dearest Admin to take down greendust off DesiDime this time! They are no good anyways. So why keep any affiliation with scammers. I hope you’ll put our request into perspective this time. Thanks!

Order cancelled-Out of stock. Both Greendust and Tradus did the same thing.

@All – That was one of the reason why this deal was not promoted to front page even though we received recommendation and this deal was voted up by so many members..

We will soon allow you guys to write reviews about/rate stores and each of them would have a score which would be one of the factor in selecting FP deals.. Hope that helps..

I also got a call from them regarding steam iron… dat it is out of stock… dey really sucks man… really bad website… I argued with them for 5 mins and shouted a lot on customer care executive but they said we have kenstar iron which is available at rs 500/-. I said them to shut their mouth… after hearing this they disconnected the call by saying we will do refund :D…Poor customer care executive :P

We need to understand that with online shopping websites dime a dozen, it is but a matter of time when the chaff is separated from the wheat and only few of them survive. If we as desidimers set high standards and discourage the use of such sites, they will either have to improve or shut shop. Both for betterment only I believe.

My personal advice would be to put a link to the review of the store with some details instead of just writing “SPAM”, if you really wish to help. So something like “Read reviews first before buying followed by a link”

In that way, any user who bumps across deal from XYZ store, they would be tempted to read reviews of the same and they can make a call.

The above is applicable for all stores…

Admin, talking about the review system, I personally am of the opinion that this system can be put to the best of misuse like mouthshut.com.
The sellers themselves could start writing false reviews & up their site ratings. Just my thought! GN
