Any bank offer being provided by any of the banks for online purchases, bank has to make arrangements not the merchant and the sole responsible is bank whose credit or debit card is being used i.e why it is written in terms that cashback queries will be entertained only by SBI and not Jasper Infotech’s Snapdeal.
When LINE or WECHAT ties up with Freecharge, they pay freecharge for cashbacks to customers and in return they get new users. As this was an offer by SBI, they are responsible for cashback. If Snapdeal was providing this offer, they would have offer 10% cashback in FC wallets rather than bank accounts. I hope you now understand what a Bank Offer means.
Profits (or losses in some terms) or say CAUC is always brone by both parties.

I DIDNT got the cashback yet
Is there anyone who got the cashback??
My 1500 is due. Whenever I contact them, they say wait till 30th Nov. And now even that date has passed.
Now this has become a habit of snapdeal . Cashback are never credited to bank accounts by their own , always have to do follow-ups (Check previous offer thread of cashbacks)
It can not be a issue with a specific Bank only
P.S – Even i have not got the cashback for this offer

I do not need to understand anything. I did not received snapdeal-HDFC cashback (5 transaction), Snapdeal-SBI cashback(2 transaction), Snapdeal-ICIC cashback, Snapdeal-ICICI pocket cashback.
But this never happened with amazon and flipkart. always received cashback within time limit.
I raised issue with higher bank authority (ICICI, HDFC and SBI), each one replay was same, first snapdeal have to credit cashback to bank, then bank will give cashback..
and it is simply not bank offer, it is joint offer.

But no bank will process unless they get confirmation from merchant/website against which order they have to process and what amount . Bank will not maintain data which order was cancelled/returned by buyer and what amount of cashback will be processed there after .
And going with history of snapdeal against cashback offer with different banks it seems like they are slow to process all these

it is exactly 100% right. twitter is only way to pinch snapdeal. I got cashback by pinching them on twitter only.

Problem is not their with cashback offer only . Snapdeal and freecharge are now going down day by day in their service department part
Some recent issues which i remembered
1. Freecharge didn’t provided 10% cashback by their own for 10% wallet offer
2. Maggi was shipped with additional charge of shipping for some buyers but snapdeal apologized for that and promised to provide refund in FC account , which didn’t came without follow – ups for some buyers
3. 20% App only offer cashback is still pending
4. FC coupons expired (provided against prepaid order made on snapdeal until 15 nov. ) even before expiry date of 30th nov agasint which FC promised to give same amount in account but till date the same has not been provided
and the most frustrating part is that they don’t even reply to the solution of query in first mail (and even takes time to reply back) rather asks stupid things like provide this , provide that …blah blah !!!! But when they have to reject something they will reply to you in no time with straight answers
By seeing this it seems like they are intentionally doing all this
I didn’t have to follow up even for shopclues 90/75/10% cashback bank/citrus/clues offers but snapdeal seems to belong from a different galaxy .

I will complaint in consumer court tommorow & also tell media, thousands of people are there whi bought from SD in 10%cb campaign so complaining will help then & also warm others

I agree that Transaction history has to be provided to bank but bank also has arrangement that let them know how many transactions were done on that particular website on so and so particular dates. When I contacted CC, I didn’t informed him the date of transaction and yet he was able to tell that it was done on 28 Sept on Snapdeal. I also know that offers are made collectively on sharing terms but one party has to be responsible with terms. This time it has to be bank before Snapdeal.
On twitter they are responding positively. lol
Received call from Snapdeal and they told that they contacted banks regarding the same and cashbacks have been processed by them to eligible accounts yesterday and it will take 48-72 hours to reflect which is a normal. So lets wait for today evening or tomorrow.
