reading this thread I feel pity on the greedy people. People jumping left and right for no reason. Every one does mistake and even after accepting that they have done mistake dimers are jumping on their toes stating all stupid things such as ill go to modi, obama etc. This is how we loose companies with good customer care. We always long about good customer care in western countries. In those countries they dont harrase customer care people as we do. Do respect and get respected back. As far as I know Amazon and Flipkart is one of the very few companies that give good customer care dont spoil those by due to your greed, cheap and stupid behaviour.

When you don’t know a thing about western countries, plz keep it shut.

In Amazon.com, they won’t dare to cancel orders without conveying the message to customers. Flipkart CC is lying blatantly & giving different reasons to different customers.

In India, as we don’t have proper customer grievance cells, these retailers can carry on with the business malpractices. Flipkart (WS Fetail) kept the price of the item at Re.1 for at least an hour or so. Do you think a dynamic pricing system of Flopkart will keep it like that without a reason when their price moves like Forex market depending on demand!!! It was intentionally done by Flipkart (&/or it’s employees) & they are unwilling to take the responsibility for it.

Edit: Even if they don’t give any compensation, they should own the responsibility of these goof ups.

I have always maintained the stance that flipkart is not transparent company at all. They have gained cheap publicity at the expense of peoples time. They are cancelling the damn orders without showing the courtesy of sending a cancellation email. I don’t want their product nor compensation but i want an apology from them for wasting my time and an assurance that stupidity like this won’t happen again in future.

I have been loyal to flipkart over the last 5 years and i have spent quite a bit shopping on their website. I do own their so called Flipkart first programme and still they treat me like an idiot. Don’t i even deserve a damn courtsery email letting me know that my order is cancelled? Is that too much to ask for? They are downright rude. They are not even apologetic for their goof ups.

Just spoke with Flopkart grievance manager – Kiran U, who claims to be replacing Mr. Chinnappa Karumbaiah Kuppanda. he says he cannot do anything in this matter! Neither can deliver the items nor refund for the inconvenience. He says he is the highest level of contact and says that bulks orders are usually cancelled! I placed 4 orders each with a single item. Also, they don’t have this information on their website.
