I went again to Croma today. I was convinced with the HD quality this TV delivers. It is best in this price range, if you are not a Brand loving person. The hardware of this TV is as same TV ranging from 40K+ onwards.
I played HD movies by connecting my Pen Drive directly to the TV. It worked flawless. There was no lag.

The only problem with this TV is with SD quality, if you want to run SD channels on it, it might disappoint you.
But in Showrooms they usually connect all Branded TV’s to HD and play HD Content. In Croma too they connected many branded TV’s to a Samsung BluRay Player. On comparing it with them in HD there is a difference which you can’t feel at your house. Moreover most of the LED TV’s will play SD content in same quality as it delivers.

If you are shifting from CRT to LED, this is the best Choice! You can go for it without thinking twice. But if you have already enjoyed a LED Full HD TV content this might not delight you. After all everything depends on Budget, this is most sought TV in this Budget!!

Interest anyway will be charged by the bank.

If you convert it into EMI, bank charges you the EMI amount every month in the statement + service tax and stuff. Even if you pay 30K in advance to bank, they dont mind if you have more credit in your card account. They will keep on deducting the amount as EMI only.

One thing is that, if you pay the whole 27-28K in advance, you may not pay your card statements for the next 12 months if you are not buying anything more with your card.

In summary: Bank will charge you the emi charges + service tax for 12 months. You can preclosure your EMI/loan on your card, but may have to pay a penalty of 2-3% of the outstanding amount.

Hi guys. Had ordered it on sunday. Received it yesterday got installed today.

The TV is not working properly. The picture on SD quality is simply pathetic. The HD quality is fine however there is noticable lag while watching the channel. Moreover when I switch channels the screen goes black for 2-3 seconds and then the next channel appears.

Anyone else facing the same issue?

Moreover on requesting for return homeshop 18 as of now has said I will have to courier the TV back as reverse pickup is not avilable at "my location ". They said the concerned team will call me in 48 hrs to resolve the issue. But this is seriously illogical. They cannot expect layman guys to courier back the TV. What if it breaks??

Dude, Better u should contact VU service is what i feel.
Check with them once. I’m using it since 2 months. Not even a single issue faced. Even the installation was prompt.

Any Dimer, who is using this TV on SD Set Top Box, can you please post pics of this TV in SD Quality. It will be helpful for many dimers.

i have seen this tv in two croma showrooms now and picture quality is not upto the mark in case of SD content even when received from DTH.

Trying to do it.. Homeshop 18 said they need DOA certificate from VU service center to give a replacement. Now chasing VU Service center for an engineer visit.

I have a full HD cable set top box. We were also thinking that there could be a problem with set top box so we had called the cable guy. I was not there but what he told my mom is that LED TV have a certain delay while changing channels.. Is this true? Can anyone throw some light on this.
