Thanx alot
Definitely selling my HTC One Dual SIM. Always wanted a Xiaomi and now, I can get it. Time to hit up OLX and Quikr now. Very very excited to see the growth of Xiaomi and how they are going to compete in the Indian market.
Samsung, Sony, HTC, Micromax, LG – Be worried! BE VERY WORRIED!

Whats the issue if we are trusting and buying a korean company like samsung which is a third grade copy cat…cheating the Indian customers….
Double like that reference..
I never bought Samsung cells in lifetime. Since beginning I dont like it.

Yes we can install…
No WORRY for SAMSUNG till they have very good After Sales Service…. if any one wish to compete samsung than must be need their Brand Service Center (+ Good Hardware… I don’t mean latest but DURABLE) next to Samsung Service Center
Worry for brand who NEVER CARE customers once product get sold

Actually Its android only..
Xiaomi ported MIUI rom on top it.
ITs one of the best ROMs available for custom rom community. Its more fluid than stock rom, i had personally experienced it, but not with MI 3 phone.

we see LOOT word in Hot Deals Online forum quite often.. now see the case of MI3 … this cost of ~14k include production cost, govt taxes duties , selling cost etc… and still they r making profits .. going by this cost logic then all other cos like Apple/sammy/sony/lg etc are LOOTING us…

You sure its really crappy? MIUI is better and smoother than samsung’s touchwiz. I had MIUI ROM on my previous device (not on this MI3 though), now using Note 2. And I can say MIUI is better than TouchWiz

I agree with you
Companies like Samsung are spending more amount on advertising than on hardware. So basically we are paying the price for their advertising, not for the device. Rs 51,000 for a mobile that loses more than half of its value in one year, really???
A good review for mi3 http://orgui.wordpress.com/2014/06/30/xiaomi-mi…

MIUI is smoother when compared to Touchwiz handled by cubs. But believe me when you start exploring and replace with custom rom, these things blows out of air, particularly debloated touchwiz. Say DN3 on Note 2 its much better than MIUI which is just an eye candy.
It all depends upon personal preferences!
Nothing better than the other!
There are lot many out there running Cyanogenmod in Xiaomi phones, that means they dont like MIUI. Also a lot who choose MIUI over the other. Many prefer Stock too. So it depends upon ur needs and wants!
For an android phone, I prefer CM.
In general, I prefer jailbroken iOS (please don’t argue here, just my personal preference )

This is very bad phone. phone looks sexy on images but on hand its a chinese mobile. If MIUI is better than Samsungs touchwiz UI then why not samsung move over to MIUI.
I sold this phone because its not user friendly

I am using Phantom Rom on my Note 2 buddy(with s5 and Note 3 interface). Ya, custom rom is better than stock one. But I prefer MIUI interface better than this TouchWiz. Yes it’s a preference changes from person to person though
But as of now, MI3 is much better than many flagship phones out there, especially for this price point

your asking—— “why not samsung move over to MIUI”
LOL…!!!
There is another reason why I trust Xiaomi and have been wanting their phones for a long time now.
With the launch in Flipkart, they have also given the Service Centre list in the same page when they could have advertised more about the phone. Now, other brands like Alcatel, Huawei, Oppo, Micromax, Xolo (or Lava), Gionee all make good phones but NEVER EVER made after-sales service their priority. The Mi 3 isn’t even available for selling till the next week and already, they are doing quite a bit to reassure us of their brand value. Granted, customers should always ask for me and then only, companies will grow but already I am a happy man.
Another reason why I started loving this brand was the hiring of their Vice-President Hugo Barra. You don’t hire a high-flying flamboyant executive unless you have aimed to reach the top. Which is exactly what I want to see as a customer.
P.S. One can look at the cases and accessories available on eBay.com for Mi 3. They are stunning and there is nothing like customizing your phone with awesome accessories.
no mention about SAR values..also battery and heat issues
The only concern is that there is no provision for external memory slot:-{
Any idea about the 64Gb version….would it be available too in FK?..
Other than that the specs are really awzm
