,As an flipkart student customer i have an offer on laptop for
Rs.1299 off and also 150 off on first purchase so i want to know if the
original price of laptop is 32000 as mentioned on the site and after all this discount i can get it
for Rs.30,500 So if the amount in the laptop invoice (provided by the laptop retailer) will be the
original price of buying as 32,000Or it’ll be 30,500 (which i got through discount through student account )??

As if i plan to sell my
laptop later to other people then i don’t want that discount to be mentioned
on the laptop invoice which i get through discount of student account.. instead i want the
original price to be mentioned only…. I’m talking about the invoice made
by the seller of laptop for eg. Ws retailer…Not flipkart purchase history
invoice that describes how much amount should i pay after final discounts …

chor hai flipkart. I ordered for 10 qnty of a product on code. I paid in full . and the when i opened the box , there were only 2 quantity. They are thieves. You order a mi3 and it is possible they send u its cover for 13999 . Hate flipkart

All sites have done this atleast once by mistake. The thing about flipkart is that their customer care actually owns up to the mistake and helps to correct it if you provide reasonable proof.

People here buy even single quantity for resell (read somewhere in DD that Mi3 are being bought to be resold in ebay for 19K!).

There is no problem in buying ! You can order 10 , 15 , 20 whatever quantity you like . But when something is at extremely low price flipkart generally considers multiple orders as reseller activity and cancels all the orders (Can also lead to a further ban ! ) . I guess that is already well known these days !

The prices were set low intentionally to clear old/damaged/refurbished stocks & not ‘pricing error’ as few of the dimers thought (I know a few dimers got recent products).

What’s known in a forum like Desidime is not well-known to the rest of the country. Moreover something well-known neither makes it acceptable nor legal.

So you mean we should not bulk order anything in flipkart?

Isn’t it unethical as well as illegal for Flipkart to set conditions after a purchase has happened?

Yes there are lot of things unethical in this country. But it is already known that such practices do exist. Either people can waste their time with CC ! They can quote hundreds of reasons to not deliver the products (which complies with their listed policies ! ). So choice is upto people ! Such practices won’t stop overnight ! But Flipkart is still one of the best services that India has ! Compared to other sites you can’t even expect one order to be fulfilled.

Btw not all stuff was damaged except one or two iDance headphones. They were pretty old and i guess they were costing them in terms of Inventory ! Also Plantronics , Philips , Skullcandy , Cowon ones were perfect without any defects . iDance were the only ones below par ! And yes they delivered all orders for me too. Even the Mi-Li charger is awesome @99 !! The only thing is when you order 10 pieces of a single item you attract undue attention towards yourself and that is when your orders get cancelled !

Amazon bans people for buying more than 1 qty when price is less, so flipkart is also doing it.
Amazon has prime, flipkart has first etc
Amazon showed huge losses in their initial years, flipkart is also showing losses even though they sell at mrp

There are 100s (if not more) of lawsuits against Amazon for unethical/illegal practices.

Flipkart will surely roger that.
