Bro, you have missed out on enough “worthy” deals (not this one) because you have never bothered to find a solution.

Here are my suggestions:

1) If your Mac has RAM >= 4 GB (easy): Install VMWare Fusion and run Windows in a VM. http://www.macworld.co.uk/how-to/mac/how-run-wi...

2) If your Mac has RAM < 4 GB (slightly complex): Install Windows in dual-boot mode. http://www.howtogeek.com/186907/how-to-install-...

Its the one he uses in his office. So he does nt want to mess around with it. But then again there is very little chance of anything going wrong atleast in the former method(What abt Parallels or Crossover?) . Well there things happen in the arid wastelands that characterises the MacOs ecosystem!

Simply because I personally prefer VMWare over any other virtualization engine. https://cdn3.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_cool.gif

There are way too many reasons behind that preference to list here, but as far as running Windows in a Mac environment is concerned, the number one reason that comes to my head is direct portability of the image to even a non-Mac environment if needed.

Nowadays almost all mainstream virtualization apps provide option for exporting the image to .OVA Open Virtualization Archive analogous to .ODT Open Document Format. Problem solved?

Never had the chance to try that, but (1) that’s one extra step, (2) extra time — how long to convert a 20GB windows image?, (3) I am guessing it doesn’t support encrypted images and other such advanced features.

Anyway, to give you some idea, I personally tried and tested all of the major virtualization engine/container solutions for my work and then chose VMWare. This was about 30 months ago. Things must be different now, but I am sure VMWare is still ahead of most of the other solutions.

Bro, neither is this the right platform to discuss such things, nor am I inclined at the moment. Besides, let’s not bump this thread in the Hot Deals to discuss this.

Another point in favour of Virtualbox is its free whereas VMWare Fusion costs what $60-90. Plus another $80 odd for an OEM licence of W8.1 core. In older versions of Bootcamp Windows 7 with its 30 day trial will cut down on the latter expense.
Parallels is also reputed to be a lot faster than VMWare.
P.S. Sure.

I have seen in their specification that we need to connect to pc

i am still waiting for mine to be shipped.

@sunilkamdar28 @newshine69

it will not work if you plug in to USB directly .. it don’t have router function that is all we know from the spec mentioned.

Soft wifi — connect to PC , use the WiFi option n then you can connect other devices.. PC needs to be ON..

You can probably get a Wifi Router that has USB support .. Some time back I bought HAME (wifi router )for same, it stopped working . The pain started as seller was not ready to get me replacement , however looking around got me way to work ..
