10A vs 6A power strip ?

Until now, I was thinking that power strips are either 6A (small plug) or 16A (big plug). But now, I see that there are power strips of 6A and 10A also (both small plugs).

So what is the difference between 6A vs 10A. When to choose 10A because most power strips are 6A only?

10A if u want to put above 1000w load on it like using a induction or a powerful gaming pc otherwise 6A is enough

Theoretically, Considering a standard AC Voltage: of 230V,
6A should take up to 1380W, same way 10A can go up to 2300W.

But practically, we generally use 50%-70% of the above values.

So, it depends on the usage. And if there is not much price difference, then no harm in going for the 10A. (It will save the fuse of the board if high-load equipment is attached by mistake.)
