ALL about axis prepaid gift cards

I’m able to add without any issue and use the card ..B/w did you got message when the card was activated with amount info ……if yes then you might be doing something wrong … VBV new login thing is still not working …

wait for 24hrs ..card would be unblocked automatically…

As @Manyu suggested, the card will be unblocked automatically after 24 hours. Moreover, even if it’s blocked on the Axis prepaid portal, you can still do transactions on it. If you are not able to register for VBV, try it at a physical store (POS) and let me know.

I have never heard of somebody’s card getting blocked for registering on the VBV portal. Seems like you tried to register on the prepaid card portal of Axis. It’s not the same as the VBV portal. Make sure you visit the correct one. See the posts I have linked earlier.

As @Manyu suggested, the card will be unblocked automatically after 24 hours. Moreover, even if it’s blocked on the Axis prepaid portal, you can still do transactions on it. If you are not able to register for VBV, try it at a physical store (POS) and let me know.

i tried adding card to existing vbv & after 3rd attempt they blocked though all info i entred was correct

I have added more than 20 cards to a single VBV account without any error or ever having to retype the card number so this is surprising for me.

Why did you have to make 3 attempts in the first place? I mean, what was the error?

Yes,I visited AXIS ATM but it’s of no use.I am getting no option to update or change mobile no.
Think going to bank is the only option left.I have mailed axis CC regarding this issue.let’s see what they reply.

I am also getting the same vbv registration problem. Its asking for upgradation of contact details at branch or atm. But at ATM there was no such facility.

Been to ATM today as always no solution
Bank is pretty far from home so will wait for the proper solution

I know its gift card as the name says but still wanted to have clarity.
While buying this card from amazon or any site, do we need to buy in our name or we can buy in another’s name?
Would the person’s name appear once bought on his name?
Any post verification would be done after buying the same?
I am planning to gift but I don’t want any hassle to happen to the intended person.

No option to update mobile number in ATM. Update profile from axis bank website does not work..I think I should contact axis bank on amazon

Finally!!! Registered my AXIS GC.
1: I am already a AXIS customer and i have MasterCard.
2: Used my credential of MasterCard to login at VBV process than just added my GC by using “Add additional Card” Done!!! (Previously i thought i would require a visa DC but you can do that with MasterCard as well of AXIS Bank)
3: also made a payment rs. 10 to confirm if it is working and now it is.

So i think it would be beneficial for people having AXIS VISA or MasterCard.

If you’re an existing Axis Bank customer and you’ve a debit or credit card, you can simply head over to https://secure.axisbank.com/ACSWeb/EnrollWeb/Ax... to get the cards working.

Go over there and login with your Axis bank card details. If you don’t have the password, you can generate it online using the Forgot password option. After that, you simply add the gift cards using the Add Card option & the cards will start working instantly.

Edit: If you don’t have the login id, use the forgot password option. After entering your debit card details, you’ll find your username on the next page. Note it down. – Credits to @k@g

Don’t have any Axis debit or credit card. Seems have to face a tough time now. Not a single card is working.
