Aamir Khan choose extraordinary scripts and his movies are also excellent(exclude Dhoom 3). But I don’t like his acting.

There was a context in which BLACK was happening. I really liked the cinematography (Ravi K. Chandran)
But Saawariya? That water channel, bridge, brothel etc. Where were they all? Nothing shown about the cultural background in which the story was set. Was it all in some dream land?

I watched just one scene from Dhoom 3 long ago on TV. Immediately I thought that, this movie belongs to Sallu uncle. Mistakenly, AK has done it.

I don’t hate his acting, but I don’t say his acting is great either.

@Magus Just the colours impress me in a SLB movie but I don’t watch them because it is quite predictable form trailer itself. You should seriously consider watching HIndi movies not the regular/commercial ones but the off-beat ones. These new-age directors are making really good movies. Watch Delhi Belly too, fun movie ( Actually I love to listen to abuses and curse words)

There is this song in Apocalypse Now which has just one word f*** . I like that song more because of the scene where it was used

Especially the scene where he goes under the truck and his face which seemed like he wants to do potty.

For Aamir Khan my opinion is he has set himself to do certain kind of roles and is perfect in those (perfectionist stands appropriate) but he can’t do diverse roles. Shahrukh Khan (I hate him) is quite capable of doing justice to any kind of role. And presently my top 3 bollywood actors are Ranveer Singh( I love him ) , Ranbir Kapoor, SRK.

You know what Aamir Khan has actually changed his image, he is now become like some kind of messiah where people look upto him and so he doesn’t want to tarnish his image.. He sheds fake tears… Have you seen Satyamev Jayate, He acts a like a dumb there you can just see and tell this guy is overacting.

I remember the moment when, in an award show, Saif keeps the bums of Madhavan and Sharman Joshi from 3 Idiots on auction. When Shahrukh asks where the third one is, Saif says that since Aamir never goes to an award show, his bum is also not present there.

@Jairaj Pyaasa,Anand and Salaam Bombay.. except those I have seen all. Kaun I watched when I was a kid and I hated Manoj Bajpai form that very day. And now I realise those were his acting skills. Will watch Aligarh soon.
