It can’t be true,
Its only illusion and rounding off of red portion.
The area less than 50% is arranged beautifully to create the misnomer.
Either we have to measure digitally or use integars only for display. Make the same diagram on the scale enlarged to 1= 100_
And u will came across the error / trick.

Nice share !

The key to the puzzle is the fact that neither of the 13×5 “triangles” is truly a triangle, because what appears to be the hypotenuse is bent. In other words, the “hypotenuse” does not maintain a consistent slope, even though it may appear that way to the human eye.

Missing square puzzle animation, like a “magician presentation.”

https://cdn0.desidime.com/Placeholders/No-Image-Available.png
Both “total triangles” are in a perfect 13×5 grid; and both the “component triangles”, the blue in a 5×2 grid and the red in an 8×3 grid.

What the “magician presentation” does not show. The angles of the hypotenuses aren’t the same: they are not similar triangles.

When asked about his birthday, a man said:

“The day before yesterday I was only 25 and next year I will turn 28.”

This is true only one day in a year – when was he born?

This Next year means, one year from today or normal year? If it is one year from today, then I guess he was born on Jan 1st??

You are given two ropes and a lighter. This is the only equipment you can use. You are told that each of the two ropes has the following property: if you light one end of the rope, it will take exactly one hour to burn all the way to the other end. But it doesn’t have to burn at a uniform rate. In other words, half the rope may burn in the first five minutes, and then the other half would take 55 minutes. The rate at which the two ropes burn is not necessarily the same, so the second rope will also take an hour to burn from one end to the other, but may do it at some varying rate, which is not necessarily the same as the one for the first rope. Now you are asked to measure a period of 45 minutes. How will you do it?

Deal Newbie Deal Newbie
Link Copied

We’ll light the first rope from both ends. It should then take 30 minutes to burn.
Then we divide the second rope into 2 equal parts and burn them at the same time. It will take 15 minutes to burn.
Hence we measure a period of 45 minutes

Sorry to reply to a one year old comment..:D

But, the man could have given those cents anytime. The question doesn’t specify that the cents are given according to the time, does it?..:-D
