Ppl shud understand china can never be a good friend . Some ppl must have got a wrong impression by seeing modi and Xi jinping jhula jhuloing that v may b best friends. This shud b another eye opener for our govt to to realise how to deal with china..

Anti dumping duty cannot be imposed as per whims and fancies of any country who are signatory to WTO guidelines. They would have to do it as per the guidelines agreed upon in the agreements.

Smart government can do anything. India will impose those duties forcefully, then China will file a case in WTO. WTO will take at least 5 years to solve the case. India will further delay the case by excuses. So, what will we have to do in that 5 years? We will promote make in India, We will find alternatives of China in all places. By the time the case is resolved, India will be independent of Chainese products. India will revoke the duties on chainese products, but by that time, we will have either made it in India or got alternatives of Chinese products. WTO will just see. All this is possible if govt take it seriously.

Indian traders will put their huge Diwali orders to chinese companies by mid july. If there is a significant talk about not buying chinese gifts; these traders will half the order or even cancel the plan fearing of making a loss thus achieving the same result.
