Hello Dimers,
We have evolved from a very basic forum to where we are now… Its a interesting journey and we have learnt a lot from Dimers on what works and what does not work… 
Lately we started with a major upgrade for Desidime where we are consolidating many of the features to provide the most valuable information to Dimers and visitors of the website…
We rolled out the stores and categories page in New design format where all information about a particular store (be it deal, coupon or a discussion thread) nicely tucked on one single page..

We obviously rolled out Chat functionality which is still being worked on and will completely replace PM in next few months.
And now we are moving our efforts towards forums.. DesiDime forums is more than just deal sharing platform or plain vanilla forums… Its the most vibrant place on the internet where any shopaholic would love to be
I am attaching a screenshot of the future Forum thread (Or you can say deal)… Some of the key highlights would be Wiki (Currently Admin/Mod driven Wiki but would soon be more like a Community wiki so all top information is summarised which OP might have missed out on), ability to flag comments, ability to chat with dimers from same window (a better version), ability for the OP to upload images on Desidime server itself (no need to upload on imgur etc..), collapsing of quotes so its easier to read on mobile etc…
We would be bringing on many changes around how deal/coupon is submitted vs how a trade thread is started… We would be using this thread to keep posting regular updates so that way, all of us can together build a better community for the Dimers.
Comments are welcome and please restrict it to only discussion around the screenshot/features posted.

@admin Why not make it a button instead of mouse-over? Will benefit mobile web users as well.

Why Dimer Name is above post? It was better below the dp. Also too much colors on Dimer details which is just a distraction previous one was better.

Yes its just a link/button which one needs to click and it would copy the url..
PS: May not work for some browsers like Safari which we would be fixing soon.

Guess my terminology was inadequate to convey my point.
I was talking about making the feature available for devices with which a mouse cannot be connected, like mobiles ABCD tablets.
For example, I’m browsing DD on Android Chrome where I can’t access this feature.
Hope I’m making myself clear.
Can someone put it in technical terms for me?

Ah, got it! If it is like the Quote, Like, Edit buttons, will work out both for mobile and PC users. Jeez! Could have said this on the beginning itself.
Who all want the last seen feature ? 
What is wrong in having a simple interface. Does everyone need this many features ?
Instead of this non-sense, better work on the chat system.

The new mobile version is really cool. So many things have been made easier now.
I cannot comment much on the desktop version since I used it only for around an hour in the recent days.
What improvements are you looking for in the chat system? Let them know so that they can start working on them.
Where is I bought it button ?
@Magus No notification in chat and sometimes it is too late to respond. Not fast enough. After the last message in a conversation the notification remains.

Desktop and where is I bought it button ?
Having issue with DD Chat function,
I am not able to send more than one text at a time, for each text i am forced to log in separately each time
For example :
Log in →One text →Log out → Log in →Another text (repeats)
So to send 5 messages i have to logout 5times and login 5 times
And if i am trying to send two or more messages at a time the result is this: http://i.imgur.com/3JcDd...pg (check screenshot)
P.s: i am facing this issue only in mobile site, desktop site is working fine

good. but it will take a while to adjust. will look into it more deeper and then will evaluate.
personally it’s very plain but it does not look polished. icons have very cluttered look, doesn’t look good. many more to say but don’t have time.

Its nice as i always welcome CHANGE in any manner, One suggestion is pls re-arrange FPD no to second or third tab[its in left most corner while reply to any post]as its hard to achieve!! ,apart from it i love new LOOK..
