Even the worst tooti – phooti ingliss is a million times more understandable to any internet user than a language they don’t know. And trust me, a MASSIVE chunk of Indians AND Indian internet users don’t know Hindi. So keep non-english language use to a minimum as far as deals are concerned to avoid alienating a whole bunch of Dimers.

But IMHO making a no-hindi RULE is a bit over the line. A no-languages-other-than-English SUGGESTION is fine. A rule? not so much. A forum thrives on camaraderie, and if a bunch of people bond better over a bit of hindi/ tamil/ kannada etc, it’s wrong to penalize them. As Rajdesidime said, a clarification/ translation is just a question away.
Anyway, inactive forum members shouldn’t chime in as far as policies for active Dimers are concerned, just gave my two cents worth since DS asked.

I am not against the rules, but still why the liberty of posters constraint and why the posters are hesitant.
