Flipkart is not giving replacement for mobiles without smartchk app downloading and diagnosing

I have purchased Redmi2 10 days ago, opted for flipkart due to their 30 days replacement guarantee, I have got faulty piece, with tremendous heating fast battery draining problem, I raised replacement request, on second day I got call from their technical team that I have to install smartchk app that will connect to their system and they will analysis the problem with mobile, I argumented with them that it is no where written on your product page that for replacement I have to follow this procedure, they have no answer but to repeatedly insist for app installation, I said I do not have Internet connection, then they said they won’t be able to replace the handset if I do not follow what they said. Suggestions needed on this issue.
Due to frauds in india,soon 30 day option will be gone and they will just say go to service center,we dont give a f*ck
Thanks …… I would like to update this time flipkart is quite decent wid me…. May be this is my first return thats why or may be any reason well known by them….they have processed my refund request without smartchk app….although i did take my stand for no smartchk app and they compromised within 5 minutes a scheduled pickup within next three working days….. With the promise of refund within 5 days after pickup confirmed….quite happy with flipkart this time….. But even niw there’s a little bit tension and hoping that all go well without any obstacle…. I did ordered the phone for bro as a birthday present…. Now i feel it was a good decision of checking the phone before handling him…..i will look for motog3…. It will be much better than lenovo and ws retailers lol…..i will keep updating about the progress of my refund initiative
