I agree that there was no official rule about using Hindi, just guidelines. But @ishandon did repeatedly ignore the requests from @bumblefoot to not use Hindi (Devanagari) script for reasons that have been discussed many times.

Just so everyone is clear, as I mentioned before, @ishandon was suspended (not banned) for ignoring multiple requests from the admins.

I am against the reasons mentioned by OP. But I do have a soft corner for @ishandon so I don’t want him to miss out on the opportunity to participate on this forum anymore.

I have been wanting to make an official request since the time I discovered that he was suspended. But I got lazy and since the suspension was only for 3 days, I didn’t bother to speak out. Your post and one Indore-specific deal (Ishan’s city) finally motivated me enough to request the admins to revoke his suspension.
