First answer me, one goes to school for seeking education or following theatrics of equality??…. which however doesn’t exist outside the boundries of school. If one is not focussing on getting education,  it doesn’t matter if he is wearing hizaab, dhoti, saari, turbans, chaddi, baniyan, or Raymonds or whatever. Waise hi bahut log padne nahin jaate, jo jaa rahe hein unko toh padhne do. As simple as that. Remember one thing, political parties will never solve problems, but it will ensure that you all have one. This is how they survive and thrive! So don’t fall behind the line. This taking sides on insignificant matters, create the divides in between.

// Why people religious practices in classroom, its a small issue but people created big issue and caused to our Society. //

Who doesn't? Haven't you been to schools/colleges where students attend colleges with turban, bhindi, holy threads and hijab? I've studied in schools + colleges ( and that too private institutions w/ mandatory uniform ) from 4 different states and no school/college ever raised an objection. They've even permitted the full black/orange dress, people wear as part of 41-day for Sabarimala temples visit

The important question here, how and why this issue started? And if it is a coincidence that Udupi PU Govt college (which allegedly celebrates hindu festivals inside the campus but banned hijab) is headed by a BJP MLA

It's our right to wear hijab, don't bar us from class: Udupi students speak up (thenewsminute.com)

In my opinion Both parties are doing Wrong, wearing Saffron scraf and Hijab in class room

Which two parties?

The one that's wearing hijab by choice? (over a prescribed uniform or placing the same allowed scarf over their head)

vs the other donning saffron shawls and turbans distributed by fringe groups like ABVP? ( Majority of the students seen heckling the girl in burqa/niqab were outsiders* )

Even if you assume that the 6 students from Udupi PU college were motivated to wear hijab, how many Muslim students in the state might be wearing hijab since the beginning of their college tenure and might've got stopped from entering the college premises just after the KA Govt GO in Feb first week? This wouldn't have been an issue at all if the college is private-owned and the rules/restrictions regarding the dress code were conveyed to the parents/students at the time of admission

Everything becomes political when a shitty political party plays the communal game, trying to establish dominance. The one thing they don't understand is, force doesn't result in any positive outcome, that too when the enforcers are hypocrites and belong to a different belief system.

__

As far as KA High court hearing is concerned, the AG appointed by KA govt was clueless, was seen blabbering random things until he disappeared during the last hearing

Fortunate for him, the CJ was in no mood to give verdict or grant interim relief to the petitioners. So, most likely the case will get transferred to SC and as the college is being run by public money the only way to keep the ban intact is to prove hijab isn't an essential religious practice (IMO the KA govt will receive a nice lecture from the judges).

^^ This is funny because, the college and govt didn't want any religious things inside the classroom but are taking a different stand due to the constitutional exceptions (+ the three previous judgements they cited seem to be be completely irrelevant w.r.t current case). For them, all that matters is a win, if not this is going to get projected as opposition's victory (Congress is trying its best) which isn't far behind in KA. So, they will do whatever they can to win (Post fake videos, Morphed pictures to malign the girls and what not)

bakwas politics bhai. Forget about dress, missionary schools penalize students who dare to speak a word in their mother tongue inside the campus. Dress code is important though. It impacts the importance of discipline in life. 🙂

dress code that does not hint/shows one religion is  necessary. (Short skirts should be given priority)

schools should not FORCE specific religious agenda. They should follow uniformity.

but having seen myself no ducking school/college runs without a specific religious agenda(affiliated to one) as the society of that religion will send their child to that school only. Like madrsa, catholic schools, ashram schools.

Very disturbed when i saw that happened with girl and those boys.

go to school have affairs, learn for the better future not religion

Luckily i also went to school , we were not allowed to wear holy thread on our wrists ,no malas or threads in in neck , girls no bindis ,no payals ,no mehendi in hands , girls hairs pleated with same colour ribbon no holy lockets in neck , no nose rings ,no special dress even on our birthdays leave alone festivals , even on festivals we were not allowed to wear tika / Tilak on forehead ,

We were just wanted in complete standard school uniform, total uniformity , no one never objected or desired exceptions even during festival or certain beliefs, our parents knew uniformity in schools is a system and must be followed without any this and that .

But these particular followers creates a rucus in everything and have weird answers. They are just communal REMOVED.

The poll is wrong. Those girls were literally following the correct dress code: School Uniform. Along with that they were wearing Hijab. Did they explicitly say no Hijab in the School Curriculum before this issue?

What you expect from Jobless goons?

This propaganda is one evergreen tool to win elections and our politicians are expert in using this. Never ever they give a f*ck to real issues, people are still fighting for garbage free roads, potholes look so real, government schools look like sabji mandi,…..

Those who talk about Rama can’t even take a stand for young Muslim girls.

It’s so simple to understand…
Mangal Pandey in revolt of 1857 took a stand( cause of his religious beliefs) and that fetched a flicker to the independence of India.
Thts was not wrong and every indian is proud of ‘veers’ like him

So is wearing hijab ….it has its significance in islam.

Dont politicise.
