Hi Dimers,
I'm in a weird fix here.
I wanted to get some good internet at my parent's house and was looking for options.
Upon searching, I could see the feasibility of Jio AirFiber after sharing my details about the location for connection on their website.
I went ahead and paid for their connection cost as 1000, but since then I have had no contact from their team.
On tracking the order ID, it says order on hold - currently in progress
Unfortunately, it has been 20+ days now since I raised the request and paid the connection cost. I have tried to email them about this issue a couple of times but to no avail (no response received yet).
And, honestly, their chat + IVR is shitty, all automated and no human agent is there, and I'm now in a fix on what to do and whom to reach.
Any dimer who can share more insight and help me with this case?
It would be highly appreciated if someone could share some means to reach their customer care which can actually respond to the issue I'm having.

You made a mistake. You should have just sent an inquiry without paying. They would contact you next day and meet you at home for KYC and get it installed day after. I sent an inquiry at 2 am early morning. A guy came to home same day 10 am. And next day it was installed. All this in a very remote village in Gujarat.

Avoid wireless, they're unreliable during bad weather. Go for wired ones only like ACT, JioFiber, Excitel, Tata Play Fiber, Airtel Fiber etc based on your location and budget
The nearest town which has fiber available is 10km away
They take 180 days or 365 days rentals upfront (even though it is called 'billing' postpaid plan).
For now, you could check the Postal address and e-mail of the nodal officer, for your circle https://www.jio.com/en-in/help-support/appellate-authority apart from writing to the group chairperson's office or the functional CXOs of Reliance jio infocomm limited who are looking after the satellite internet business.
Unless it is for use in remote hills or places in Andaman, Lakshadweep, Nicobar type islands with no other ISP in the immediate vicinity, I would avoid such things for parents or seniors.
I can hope that all funds remitted were by paper cheque or digital funds transfer.
(If paid in cash to some last mile installations/ salesperson them it is seppuku/hara-kiri, not to mention irresponsible too.)
it was digital payment, made via jio portal itself, got a SMS and order id as well.
1000 is advance payment which is then used for rest of the plan amount (6 months or 1 year whichever)
