condom is best and most easily available and safe no side effects..
it prevents STD’S most importantly and pregnancy..
failure rate is 15-20% for condom so first condom then unwanted 72 which has least failure rate.

Hi,

Thanks for creating the thread, i was planning to visiting doctor regarding my health.

The problem is, i get fever daily at night, in the day time iam fine, this has been happening from past 2 months, and very next morning iam fit and go to office.

One thing which is in my mind that should be causing the problem is that i drink daily at night, 180ml whiskey (from past 7 months) and 4-5 cigarette a day (past 10 years). I gym for 2 hrs daily, which include running 3km nonstop, my stamina level is on the higher side. Also i have 5-6 cup of strong green tea throughout the day in office.

I know this wrong and iam going to quite it, but i want to ask, have i damaged my liver ? Is this the symptom related to liver damage ?

Hi fnd
Congratulations that u have realized it..
Yeah u should definitely consult a doctor..
Not only liver u have to go for routine check up
The basic tests should be done
Liver function tests as u drink alcohol
Cholesterol levels for cigarate and alcohol
And sugar levels fasting and post breakfast
And kidney function tests and your routine boold hb levels.
The most cause of fever night time in our country for 2 mnths duration and who smokes is TB tuberculosis so you should get the sputum and x ray chest to be done..
Good thing is you are exercising regilarly and it may have helped u so much..
But as soon as possible go counsult a doctor…
And get all the tests to be done dont think that all the tests are uncessary.
Even if they are notmal thats good thing for you..
Msg me if u have any doubts

Hi @PANDA MAN What does a Ishak Stage 5 mean for a liver cirrhosis patient (cause due to HCV infection running inside over a period of 15 years detected last year hospital negligence bad blood transfusion) Enhanced Liver Fibrosis Score also is greater than 9.8 and Fibroscan is about 30Kpa( showing confirmed cirrohsis)

HCV infection was removed with the help of triple regime therapy sofosubvir/Ribavirin daily and once a week Exxura 180 for period of 6 months.

Learned that Ishak Stage 5 is progressive to stage 6(final stage) without any reversal despite curing the cause of the disease. Any inputs to share about it, how much life span does a patient expect to live in such a scenario. Any cure available?

Also need input about peripherial neuropathy pain and bilateral foot drops restricting ones mobility because of pain and loss of muscles and weakness in lower limbs on medicene Gabapantin NT/Rexperia/Lonazep etc which keep changing at different times…any Cure available for this too.

Sincere genuine advise would be appreciated.

U better get your routine blood tests done as u are underweight and if your family members like father were also like u when they are young then it may be from genetic and dont worry about it..
Sometimes thyroid levels also effect growth..
So better consult a doc and get tests done.
And i think u are not getting proper sleep and proper time to eat also i can be sure of that..
Change your life style..
But first get some basic tests to be done…

Asking me true how could i tell u that…
But bro honestly speaking may be not that kind of extreme cases like traping patients like that but a little bit of that may be true not all of it..
Every doc has comission in lab and medical shop.
Think bro when generaly wholesale medical shops giving nearly 18% discount and in all hospitals u are paying the full amount for medicine then what should be their profit. The drugs are same brand and everything is same..
So its a obligate symbiotic way of living…

Yes, sales target for doctors is the new standard. I know someone who works in the “business development” department of a major hospital chain in India and he told me about this long ago. Moreover, I have personally experienced this in each and every private hospital I’ve ever visited. It’s a very sad state of affairs.

This corruption is being fueled by the insurance industry. I think the only reason there is not a huge uproar about this corruption at the places we trust our lives with is because many patients are covered by insurance and are thus disconnected from a direct impact (obviously, the increasing premiums are an indirect impact). The hospitals leave no stone unturned to squeeze as much as they can from the insurance coverage.

Gall stones is the main cause of jaundice and liver problems also cause jaundice.. so gall stones should be removed if his condition co operates then he can undergo a surgery…
If liver disease is severe than gall stones then we must get treated for liver disease. ..
But it takes time so be patient and consult a good gastroenterology doc and get treatment

Hi @PANDA MAN hats off to your initiative… My mother has recently fallen down and seems small fracture.. Doctor told to take mri in same hospital but I took other place for lesser cost, after seeing report and cost, he told this report is half baked, there is no length of fracture and distance of fracture from some reference point (i dont’ remember ref point). I called MRI centre and asked them to update report with the details doctor asked, but the MRI technician told we can’t mearuse these in mri as far as he know, now I confused who is lying… if you are ortho or able to clarify my doubt it will be helpful

One more information I wanted to know true or not is, if you are having eligible insurance, every hospitals insurance dept. are instructed to claim max amount in single shot by giving unnecessary surgery/operations/treatments…
