i realised this after the very first deal i posted after being excited on being a part of the community.
shared the croma voucher thing which people knew. but after me posting it.
the vouchers were off HS18 the very next day. I realised the mistake.

The popularity of DD is not helping the community but is acting against it.
Some serious steps have to be thought or all good deals will be steals for Silent Hawk, Resellers and selfish HUMANBEINGS.

There is a new league of DD users who want to have all the deals without moving their butt. The website performance is degrading by the onslaught of new users who are here just for the deals. I don’t think it is a sustainable model to have more leechers than seeders.

There are no measures in place to ensure that the real contributors get the benefit of their work hunting deals and helping people. The new members are here 24×7 to loot away the deals. WTF

They start selling or exchanging coupons
There are no rules or action to curb, any unofficial tricks or illegal ways to grab a deal not meant to be bought the wrong way.

People should not be allowed to post “tricks” & off topic chit chat, asking for coupons in every thread but this forum has become just too big for the few mods here to moderate such posts effectively , as soon as someone posts the word “trick” there are 100 replies by people wanting to know the trick which ruins the thread, i tried PMing people to stop posting tricks & illegal stuff in the FB thread but after few PMs realized its no use and gave up , more mods are required to stop this immediately, that is if the admin wants to stop it.

see what MOD did was trying to help people he shouldn’t be blamed.people misusing it should be blames.as whatever the act was , it was completely selfless.with no ulterior motives just trying to help the community, so its for the people to use it as a privilege or to use it for selfish purposes.

there should be some filter and desidime should be open to only genuine buyers who want it as a need and not for business or luxury.

people buy the coupons and then they say they dont have it and when some other deal comes they are ready to come out of the dark and exchange the coupons which they got for free.

i have noticed a couple number of times when people generated as much as FB coupons as they could and then later on when genuine people requested it the claimed it expired, but when deals like paytm 50 rs recharge cam every body was ready to trade the coupon!! even during the evening of HS18 coupons!!

funny though nothing less than black marketing and making money at the expense of desidime itself.

i think the issues and problems concerning to this should be taclked with due care and the sensitivity of the shortcomings and the side-effects should be taken care of!

i guess the mod or anyone who posted the trick is just to help everyone….in this case as many won’t have win7 or ie9……

if the coupon generation is done by normal process, again everyone would have generated the coupons illegally and easily as much as they can as you said….. but who will you put the blame at that time….

I can see that you have a negative bias against me and you have been taking indirect shots at me in a couple of your earlier posts. I fail to understand since when did I become a lecturer on Desi Dime? I am just another member here. As far as I know, we don’t even know each other by any means of introduction but still you type this rant at 2AM for me. I find all this a little amusing.

Everybody has a right to his/her opinion and my stand is clearly against re-sellers who abuse Desi Dime without contributing to it. Yes, I am angry at people who take Desi Dime for granted and do mindless thread crapping. My tone is never gonna change for those people.

As far as this thread goes, there are a lot of people who agree to the menace of re-sellers which I’m trying to point out using an example of a Yebhi re-seller on eBay. It is not hard to tell that it is Yebhi by looking at the brands like Unbranded, Blanca, NavyFont, Puma and so on. Thanks for pointing out Flipppers and TICKET brands. Well their is a lot of crapping going on all around DD but you never speak about that ever in length.

Dude you posted right after my posts in other threads. That looks like you’re reacting to my words which are not meant for you but you are getting affected God knows for what reason? You finally addressed this post directly to me.

As far as you telling me to talk about issues on Desi Dime instead of this Yebhi thing, you will have to look back in time even before you joined Desi Dime and check my threads and posts and see what all I have been talking about. The problem is you don’t know me but you are getting judgmental about my current thoughts which I see as the biggest problem for Desi Dime.

Honestly tell me something do you even feel like going to the Hot Deals – Online section?
There is so much mess all around in that section. People getting into competitions, trying to pull each other down just for the sake of making their deal an FPD!!!
Does that make any sense at all??

DD has lost its charm and nowadays people are only concentrating on submitting deals & earning dimes no matter whatever it is.
There is quantity hell lot of quantity but sadly no quality. Thats all I have to say.

People taking advantage of DD cos we are letting them do so.

I personally don’t believe in a hierarchy on Desi Dime because even the first post by a Deal Newbie makes it to FPD if it has appeal. I have benefited with many people’s deals, suggestions, help, coupons irrespective of their rank. This is the true spirit of Desi Dime. This is possible only if people post to help others first and satisfy their need or greed later.

I want to work to restore the charm of Desi Dime because I believe this community is beyond dimes, deals, etc etc. There was a brotherhood feeling and I used to post in Hot Deals section a long time ago. Now if you post anything in Hot Deals which is not as good as free, people bash the deal left-right and center. There is a new league of users who want it all for free. Expecting things for unrealistically cheap prices is not always possible. This site is primarily for online shopping and not for free stuff.

Re-sellers, internet users and inactive members are making use of the open forums and consuming deals meant for the active members of the community without giving anything back to our community. This is the biggest problem and I can predict that many active members will bear the brunt of this menace in coming times.

The other issue is the unhealthy competition to gain dimes, recognition, FPD etc etc. These numbers score over trust and friendship.

Very well said… Posting Deals has become very easy and few people in DD wants to increase Dimes by posting as many as possible…Dimes is not everything here..Will it ever make any difference on the credibility of a person…Personally i dont think so..DD is about sharing.. helping and its like a encyclopedia of Deals … Every detail is available over here.. It saves lot of time to run around various deal sites or forums… etc…Many got saved with info of what to do and what not to do…I was part of DD and got benefitted very long back (un registered)…Now im trying to be a Real Part of it from few months..

Just Keep up the good work Guys.. DD Rocks and so are the Dimers…:D
