I have to agree that something has to be done about the disruptive nature of @B@R_0_0_D’s posts. Before I say anything further, Barood bhai, you already know how I feel about you and your posts, so please don’t take any offense to this.

There is no denying the fact that ‘Dost And Dimes’ forum is an eclectic mix of posts and it is very hard to navigate if you are trying to find a specific topic. Barood’s daily (well, almost) deluge of posts just adds to the problem. After a posting frenzy by Barood, it’s almost impossible to find the relevant threads related to that day’s deals or other online shopping subjects.

I propose a new sub-forum called “Life Pro Tips”, just like the popular subreddit www.reddit.com/r/LifeProTips. #LPT

Most of Barood’s posts would be a good fit for that sub-forum. And this will also encourage and provide an avenue for users who shy away from posting such topics for the lack of a proper place. I believe this will be a win-win outcome for everyone involved.

I am surprised that you are asking those questions considering that you have been registered for quite a long time.

(1) KG is an abbreviation for “Karma Given”, not Kilogram. Barood is a Deal Major so his Karma giving power is 30 points. See http://www.desidime.com/forums/site-questions-i…

(2) As for Dimes, see http://www.desidime.com/forums/hot-deals-online…. That post was written almost 3 years ago, so there are some other ways of earning Dimes now. Somebody else (goss8877, Achilles ?) might dig up a better reference.

BTW its not even a month that I learnt about Karma feature. I use to write only Karma Given One day, a dimer helped me. I use desidime mobile web only on slow 2G so whatever post appears here and there I read. There are so many threads and forums here. Anyways, I look only for recharge offers most of the time.
