I am planning to buy a phone and stuck between to choose either S21 FE or S23 FE. What do you suggest there is significant price difference of Rs 10k between the two phones. S21 FE is coming around Rs 28k whereas S23 FE is costing around Rs 38k.
I know S23 FE has exynos processor which is not great but was thinking from software updates and galaxy ai features as well.

From a performance standpoint, both phones will be so fast that you won't notice a difference. The S23 FE has better cameras and software ugprade support. The S21 FE will still have better software support than any Chinese junk. It came out with Android 12, has the current Android 14 and will get Android 15 later this year or early next year. It will get security updates at least for the entire next year if not the next 2 years. Definitely no Galaxy AI. If budget is tight then go for S21 FE. Just wait a little though because I am sure you will find deals that bring it around Rs 23k mark.
Neither of the phones are known to be battery life champions. So if you are gamer or use your phone more than 3 hours every, I don't recommend those phones.
I have s21 fe, using family member, it is all perfect except battery, bought 1.5yrs ago, as of now it is not worth buying from software update perspective also it is started getting Green line issues few reported after march 2024 security patche.
I personally recommend you to wait if you can and buy regular s23 series phone (even consider s23ultra used) but shouldn't go with s23 fe.

My priority would be
OneUi, processor, camera, 256gb
Else MyUx (moto) else stock
Last is BBK junk if ticks other criteria but value for money.
If Iqoo Neo 9 pro had NFC, i would have bought it. But they strategically launch devices with lack of few core things to promote other bbk competitor (it looks competitor but actually it is not).
Wait till BBD and get the premium device for peace of mind for next few years.

S23 Fe is a complete disaster. It is hell heavy, thick and got big bezels even bigger than s21 fe. Not at all recommended. Even at this time don't go for s21 fe either. Buy s23 instead. Complete allrounder with great camera and compact design. If budget is the issue u can go with s22 also.
