doesn't this seem a bit insensitive to those here who lost their lives or the loved ones to such complications?
And I say this despite never taking any of the Covid-19 vaccines, even when it meant I could not be at international conventions or personal (social) events in countries which disallowed unvaxxed people from entering.
Not to mention I could not (even if I wanted to) take many domestic flights also.
If one takes informed decisions and perished, then maybe yes. Like if I die in a paragliding, skydiving, adventure sports accident or get run over by a truck.. within days of saying something critical about some powerful persons, politicians.. then sure.. it is on me. Make fun of my death.. i got into it knowing well the likely 'worst case' scenarios.
But imagine being from a below poverty line family whose only bread winner perished due to such malpractices by big corporares, influential people and the political nexus/ blessings.

Covaxin showed only 78% effectiveness in preventing the infection as compared to around 91% for Covid shield. And therefore going by the data, it was recommended to take the vaccine with the better efficiency. There's no left or right in this. Stop bringing politics and patriotism into medicine.

In extremely rare cases, any vaccine can cause side effects, just like any drug can. For the vast majority of people, they do not. That's why they are so extensively tested in multiple phases clinical trials. I thought even the most idiotic of people knew this for centuries. It is not specific to any particular vaccine or even the covid vaccine.
No vaccine company is going to come out and say upfront - hey our vaccine could kill 0.0000001% from anyone of you. It's an understood standard disclaimer.
For a disease like COVID-19 which was once fatal, administering covid vaccines to everyone would've killed or damaged the health of very very few people compared to if all of them didn't take the vaccine at all in which case a significant number would have died from covid.
So nothing really that's sensationalist in this news. All vaccines have very very minor risks. If you choose to not vaccinate yourself, you are taking the risk of suffering or dying from the disease.

The vaccines were not long term tested, we took just after invention of the vaccine. Also, a drug takes approximately 20 years after its invention. First they are tested in in vitro system, if any positive outcome is found, then they are tested in laboratory animals like mice, rat. After a lot of positive reports (pre-clinical trials) have been published, then we move in clinical (applying on hospitalized patients) phase. There are several stages of clinical trails before being globally approved. So, it takes time. Covisheild has not gone through any of this in excuse of 'special case'. We have no idea about what will happen to our body system in next 10/20/30 years because of the vaccine. Also, it is well known how pharmaceutical corporations are looting us in the name of health care, watch V for Vendetta if you want.
Stop being hypocrite and blaming the left party for this. If people are dying due to its side effect, the government and pharma companies are to blame, left has nothing to do with it. And its a matter of fact that heart attack has been severely increased in every part of the society. We need to acknowledge properly if something is wrong rather than being a blind follower.
