Hussain, I have no idea on the service centres since laptop is only 20 days old. Battery backup is decent – good. Just tested it yesterday with mild applications and it gave more than 3.5 hrs of use with some standby time also in between. I dunno how will it perform if I run only games on it. My guess is it should do 2-2.5 hrs at least depending on the resources the game utilizes.

Trackpad is smooth and maybe a problem for some (For me it was ok). Can’t feel any clicking sound in particular. Either way I’ve bought myself a mouse and hence may not use the trackpad much unless I’m travelling with the machine. So u need to see its use and decide accordingly.

My final words for this laptop is this – buy only if u interested in gaming and if u r getting it around 26-27K. Screen is frankly very averagish and I was kinda disappointed with that (My old HP was better than this). If u can live with that then this is a powerhouse for gaming. I doubt whether u’ll get any laptop with such features and possible modifications at this side of 30K. If u r not into gaming, blindly give this laptop a skip.

Hope it helps. Thanks.

Toshiba, my friends had some issues during our MBA days. After a year, the battery was on a life support and required a power supply no matter what. Of late, I’ve heard that their quality has improved but can’t assure you of that since haven’t used it personally.

For the specs, ur Toshiba (1st choice) seems to be good. Please do search on the forum / net for a better price for this laptop.

One deal was posted a month back – http://www.desidime.com/forums/hot-deals-online…

This laptop should suit your requirements and be light on the pocket.

Cheers
