I would suggest you to first go through the below IFB link to have a better understanding of specification of Front load washing machines.

This fill help u to find which model meets ur req (basically various features, and load capacity etc), also it will give you the approx idea, how much it will cost, then we can find the better deal of the product. of IFB or Diff make

dude…even i had done large exploration before buying…. each and every company has lots of complaints… i visited stores and checked all the models….. finally zeroed in on IFB becoz of its finishing and other better features…

i am not suggesting you to go for IFB… but to explore more before you buy any other model too……!!!

^ Was this post for me? Read that most have spinners and not 100% dryers , I wont be going for IFB for sure , their quality isnt as good like it was when they were with botch , most probably will go for LG/Samsung or seimens , budget 15-20k

guys my electrolux front loader just stopped working few days ago and i decided to buy a new machine as it was 10 yrs old ….. i saw all the machines they had whirlpool, lg, samsung, ifb, siemens and after a lot of deliberation and research over the past few days i ordered the siemens ……. as i believe it is technoogically the best and built physically the best as well .. a quality product, but drawback is it has basic wash functions and not sophisticated which is ok for me coz in my last machine i never even used the sophisticated wash functions Bought this model …. http://www.playmore.in/home_app_english/home-ap... final price after much negotiation at the shop Rs18500/- https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif i think croma is a really good shop as its a TATA company and are unlikely to cheat like smaller operators such as Vijay sales …. kohinoor etc…. I was thinking of buying washer cum 100% dryer machine but lot of ppl advised me against it who own it because it is difficult to repair as its not popular and spare parts are not easily available and are expensive, rather than that its better to buy a washing machine and 100% dryer separately as its a simpler combination and can be stacked on top of each other so space is also not an issue. I have not yet purchased the dryer but plan to soon For anyone looking for a machine i would like to mention the following observation of mine from 10 years use of front loader machines

1)whatever you do dont buy electrolux …… it gave me endless trouble and my machine was imported from Italy …. so imagine how much trouble the made in India/china electrolux will give

2)dont get attracted by high spin speeds like 1000rpm it hardly makes any difference and will increase the noise and vibration 10 times …. plus at 1000 rpm the machine can physically move a bit

3)Check the drum …. siemens was entirely SS other makes had plastic stays inside the drum to kkep the binding together ( I didnt consider whirlpool or ifb)

4)From what i’ve heard LG direct drive has no real advantage and actually results in higher sound level after some years use because balancing has to be perfect compared to belt drive machines, so dont buy just because its direct drive ….

Personally i’ve owned both front loader and top loader in the past and frankly there is no “improved wash quality” for front loader … believe me wash quality is the same, I think its just a fad that front loaders have superior wash quality.
