either buy a 20 incher or a 24 incher… 23 inchers are actually 22.5 inches and u pay a lot more for those 2.5 inches…
24 inchers look and have much bigger area than 20 inchers… so worth the spending… most monitors come with 3 yr warranty but Benq has peculiar warranty system in which they give 42 months of warranty from date of manufacture… and this is where u can be at loss… coz if the product was lying unsold for 1 year or more u loose on warranty for that period and will be eligible for only 30 months of warranty and so on…
BenQ monitors are good but u should check the aforesaid thing before buying….
Also u can look for Dell, AOC, Philips and viewsonic depending on ur range….

you can get dell 2030 offline in local market @ 5500-5700 easily. monitors tends to cost more online due to fragile nature making high shipping charges. look for good response time, about 25 Watts power consumption max and preferably dvi port if your motherboard has one and don’t get carried away by contrast or dynamic contrast ratio. iball 2070 is also a good option.
