[Admin] Help ! Login Problem .

Many users are facing login problem from pc site. After entering login details its redirecting to facebook homepage

I was facing the same on desktop version on direct log in option; but now everything seems ok
Finally logged in
OMG! This is a major issue. I haven’t been able to login since about 8:00PM yesterday night. Gave up this morning and using the app right now.
@Admins: I hope this is being dealt with the right urgency.
Now its working fine 
I am still not able to login via the desktop site.
- Firefox on Windows.
- Have also flushed my DNS cache to make sure I am hitting the correct servers.
- Tried logging in both with the modal popup as well as the dedicated login page (desidime.com/login).
- Tried logging in using my userid as well as the registered email address.
No joy.
facing the same issue since morning !! not able to login !!! tried everything !
Guys tech team is looking into it.
We will update once its fixed.

Same happened with me yesterday 
It worked when i switched my useragent to s40 Java phone 
I too faced this problem many times, their is also many problem after login one such is when I login to reply any thread it redirected me to desidime.com/posts link and some tym to any anonymous thread, kindly do check out this prob. as well

Yes…facing the same issue.
Also, app crash every time while opening message.
May be temporary issue.

Finally fixed, was not able to log-in from Yesterday evening
Woohoo! Tried again just now and it worked. I am back on the desktop site.

I tried changing the useragent as you suggested but that did not help either. Even on a WAP useragent, the regular desktop website was served. Moreover, I can understand the site might be serving different stylesheets (CSS) based on the useragent, but I doubt the functionality (server code) would vary based on the user-agent string. Only @admins can clarify this.

Agree completely. As I hinted in the following post, such a critical issue in a production site as popular as DesiDime is not acceptable. Admins need to learn from this disaster and improve their workflow and DR processes.

Hello guys,
Sorry one of the server was acting up weirdly and it could not resolve some DNS settings and hence login failed silently. We have already contacted the hosting provider and will take steps to ensure that it does not happen again.
For now, the problem is fixed and apologies for inconvenience caused.
