It will be better to make trading legal on dd and let dd work as an intermediate like eBay and amazon works.
Can be done by exchanging Paytm/Mobikwik via dd or new dd cash will be better option.

Say, A dimer is angry with another dimer, B. This feedback wall or feedback system of B can be misused by the angry dimer A thru repeated comments & multiple ids.
I hope admin team has understood all pros & cons before implementing it.

As I said earlier in another topic & copy pasting from there itself
In absence of any other solution, presence of a mediator is a very good solution for these kinds of issues.
A few members can volunteer for this & could be approved my admins/mods.

Just my view & even if it does not work in all the trades & all instances then also it will be helpful to curb all these incidents of cheating to a large extent

Not for Certain Ranks .. i Think it Should be certain Dimes (Like Min 75-80 dimes) & At least 1 FPD(Don’t Check My FPD ) Every Smart Dimer Knows How get Karma And Upgrade thr Ranks By Juz Type Congrats XYZ …. Its Too Easy To Became Deal Cadet But its bit difficult to get dimes…!!

1) This will drastically reduce the number of new fake registrations by existing dimers just for trading.
2) This will motivate dimers to contribute to the forum more productively, rather than being a troll, spammer, or leecher.
3) If the admins do choose to implement such rank based participation in the trading section, they must also enforce the “No Karma Begging” rule without fail.

I also agree with what @dimepincher has mentioned about the vulnerability of the upcoming “feedback wall” system. Many dimers will use such a system to settle personal grudges. I have the following suggestions to prevent such misuse.

1) Allow only verified trading parties to leave feedback for each other (like eBay). So dimerX should only be able to leave feedback for dimerY when there is a “confirmed trade” between them. I know DesiDime doesn’t yet want to officially get involved in the trading mediation, but the trade confirmation can be achieved via a special feature in the threads of the trading section. It could be a “I Traded With…” button in every thread that establishes a trade link between two dimers only when both the parties click on it and select the other dimer’s username. Once the trade link is established, both the dimers will get access to write on each other’s feedback walls for that particular trade.

2) Apart from the above, we can have an additional check in the system by providing voting buttons (both thumbs up and thumbs down) for each feedback on the “feedback wall”. The voting buttons will allow other dimers to highlight their agreement with a genuine feedback or disagreement with an obvious fake feedback. This will serve the same purpose that the currently implemented “Score” feature does for every thread on the forum.

if you see 90% of the local trade guys in trading section are max of 5 6 month old. And their language and attitude shows they know this forums for years, looks like some senior dimers too have multiple id’s and they use these new ids to trade for some reasons.

I was about to start a transaction with Rahul yesterday. However he was adamant that I should transfer first so I dropped the idea. His activities seems suspicious..

Good observation. It was there even when I joined DD.

Day by day, this tendency increased as DD doesn’t look into this matter much (may be cos it’s not related to their revenues).

@Beinghuman What is guarantee than senior dimer will not cheat and also if newbies didnt participate in trade how they can grow on DD.
