Actually i had never used shazam,so no idea about it,but for downloading U can use gaana+ app

audiblecoffee.com – nicely sorted music based on genre and source will be soundcloud
beatport – get the charts created by your favorite dj’s and follow them to find new updates (my personal ‘praveen achary’)
last.fm – use the awesome similar artist feature, i scrobble all my listening activity there so that people can check my interests.
plixid.com – you get loads of very good music uploaded here
rutracker.org – my personal best tracker + forum to download all latest singles, EP’s, album e.t.c

English Tracks – I prefer Torrent as you can get whole discography of the artist (For Album even google search does the trick) .
