You can get more than 3 messages even today, if you want to SEND more than 3 messages then you need to be a Deal Cadet.
For becoming Deal Cadet you need to get 100 karma points, which you will be getting by doing some good work on the forum and helping others without expecting any benefit

Isn’t it ironical; if you indeed were a woman of the night, people would still have approached you/ your number (even if hesitantly) with more flexible mind. But if you make every thread, every section a bus stop to advertise your presence then it gets the response it is getting.
