heard its BAD!!!

^^^I hope you have checked the specs – the internal memory is biggest deal breaker. If you update to Lollipop and install very few basic apps, even after moving movable apps to SD, you’ll be out of memory very quickly. If you need very few apps, its ok, but keep in mind that app sizes keep growing and very soon you may find out of memory messages when you try to update.
If you still go for it, suggest you don’t upgrade to L. Kitkat 4.4.4 is better in so many ways, and you’ll also have more internal memory.
I would again suggest redmi 2. the post above got buried so just liking it wouldn’t have helped.
I have 4 nos. redmi 2 in my family (3 more with my friends) not a single issue as phone hanging. not a single trip since last 8 months (redmi note on launch) to service centre since I started migrating to xiaomi.
rather a friend who didn’t listen and went for micromax has his new phone in service centre which he bought thinking value for money (they said will be back after a month) so he went for xiaomi in frustration.
also consider xolo but don’t spend below 6000 as a benchmark

actually didn’t consider redmi 2 coz of the bad reviews heard like mainly heating up and bad post service
for xolo, have a doubt on the brand
also will not be using as a power user but as a basic user with only few apps

Naggers have been single phone users who complain about almost everything thing.
It’s me who is answerable and fix the phones in my house. not a single complaint yet for redmi note 3g nor redmi 2"@rajrocks":http://www.desidime.com/users/349128 wrote:

bro
I agree
but people who bought only one phone, for them still first impression is the last impression, obviously in their case right!!!

bro
nothing like that
haven’t decided
still checking out other phones
but spice uno is most likely value for price 2800
until its bought its not confirmed
thx
Compared to redmi the dream uno is significantly snappy, thanks to vanilla android. But then MIUI has way more features. Better option is Cynogen, but that leaves you with Yu.. Unless you can go the custom ROM way. Also the uno doesn’t heat the way redmi did, but that’s before xiaomi pushed out updates. Haven’t used after the updates.
