BOUGHT IT : Dishwasher : How to chose the right one need to buy one TODAY

I’ve used IFB Zypher in the past. The thing is ok but trouble comes from IFB. Their service standards have fallen drastically.

Check through whom is Siemens providing service ?

LG & Samsung also have dishwashers in their range now, check them out too.

Also see if Bosch is selling DW’s in India, if they are….should be the option to go for..

A lot of owners complained on Mouthshut for bad service from IFB through their service franchise so definitely ticked off from my list.

My suggestion to go for LG or Samsung as you will get easy and cheap after sales service
It is better even if you compromise 1 or 2 features than IFB

Visited Croma, Ezone and 3 smaller shops (they usually are ready for a discount for cash transaction)

Only Croma has the current samsung model which is 2 year old 12 dishes.

its for some 32000 while LG was not in stock which is a 14 dishes model for 49000.

The new samsung model to launch is also 48000.

Guys sitting on the sideline planning to buy do give a consideration.

Just returned home to discuss it with my wife. Will try to find a deal online or at 6pm will walk in croma and buy the samsung model.

Visited croma store Citypride kothrud with dimensions of the place in the balcony. Found it to be the right size for the Samsung dishwasher.

Requested a price compare since the cromaretail.com price is 1000 bucks cheaper than the in-store price.

Got the discount approved from the store manager and then bought 1 year extended warranty(2 + 1) for Rs. 1075.

Will get it delivered tomorrow by 11:30am

Price compare is an old trick used in USA. I just pitted them against their own website and knew I can pull it off. I managed to get 1 year extended warranty for free with the trick so they didn’t mind either.

1 revelation is this model is being upgraded. The new DW to replace it is for 48K. even LG is nothing below 49K. Faber range starts at 41K -50K.

So 31K for DW will soon be unthinkable in new year. So didn’t waste my time in taking a decision.
