Not sure if the below process is already known to all…still sharing though… Get 200 off coupon on 500 1.Ask your friend to download grofers and place first order..once order is delivered ,Call up the customer care and inform them that you have referred your friend.. 2.Give your friends mobile number…(if you have multiple sims…place first order from them and still claim referral coupon) 3.Alternatively you can also reach grofers Customer care on FB and twitter(Much easier option) and claim referral coupon 4.They will promptly check if first time order is place using the number u shared and post successful verification from backend they will generate a referral code which will give you 200 off on 500 to be used within 3 months Catch here is You need to contact customer care within 7 days of first order placed from the number you have referred. They will simply deny incase you reach out to customer care and claim the referral credit after 7 days of first purchase

Not sure if you were aware about the referral promotion from Grofers, but I hope you realize that it was hard not to come to that conclusion as (1) the details you asked for are so similar to what is required for the referral promotion, (2) “once bitten, twice shy” — such shenanigans are, unfortunately, common at DD. VU to draw attention and to offset one negative vote.

Tagging @PaytmKaPoojari and @ankit_gangar as they can probably help complete your project on their own.

By the way, based on the information you have provided, this seems like a cheap, yet practical, test of the sales skills of management students. Do you agree?

I heard about this project around 2 or 3 months back on a social media group I was part of. I dint care that time thinking that the guy was a smart chap taking details for abusing referal program.But the copy of the mail from ninjaboy has made me believe it’s a cheap but yes a management coll project.

Also let me clear that I have only 1 grofers account in my family and all my orders are only done through that account atleast till date( more than 70 orders since Feb at last count). Grofers always has given 20% codes when I needed. I have a grofers method to get onions at a cheap rate.pm me for it. I may not be online so it will take me a while to reply

Agreed that its a cheap test of sales skills, but that is what most companies offer to entry level management grads in field of marketing. (Most FMCG companies offer sales role for final placements, e commerce cos offer better roles)

They are paying the same . But currently paying from my pocket, will hopefully get at the end of the project

Guys…. Can’t any of u see that the word “grofers” has been edited…. Its replaced by grofers… Common guys wake up.. This is just rubbish.. No project. Will the professors confirm with grofers whether it was customers first order.. The details he needs clearly shows referral trick.. A project is given which can be done in ur locality… Not on all. India basis

see… If a referral has been claimed it may not be of his use… The project just needs first order details… How does it matter to college or project whether referral has been taken
