Help me with all of the "new user" cab offers

Broheims,

I am planning to introduce a non-techie, older relative to the world of app-based cab services. He is having driver troubles. Since I am actually a very “old user” when it comes to these cab companies, I am not aware of the “new user” offers.

Can you please list all of the “new user” offers for these cab companies that you are aware of?

The relative lives in Bangalore, just in case that information can add some value. Moreover, I welcome you to list referral offers (not your code, of course!). But keep in mind that my motivation lies in getting him the best deal, regardless of whether there is some benefit for me or not.

Personally, I would also like to know any good, cheaper outstation cab services operating in Bangalore (please mention their rates).

BCC: Some users who seem to be using these cab services quite often.

@rocker123 Can you please break your silence? If I remember correctly, you once mentioned using these cab offers multiple times daily on a regular basis.

@DealSeeker MERAEVENTSIND is the best code currently 2 rides worth 500 but last week me and some other dimers faced problems with the code. It would apply to the accounts but then somehow once u book a ride the code disappeared. Apart from it competitor sites have some 400 rs codes for first ride or better referalls worth 250 . Also the Kerela NRI fest codes of 200 off for 2 rides .

Thank you for providing a lot of good information, bro! KG.

Are you aware of the offers for any other cab service (Ola/TFS/Meru)?

I think this is the first time someone has shared that MATRIBHUMI code here. KG. Not interested in getting an FPD? https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_wink.gif

OLA is giving 100 rs ola money to both parties . Also u can add to that discount coupons . A few days ago there were people trading junglee ola coupons of 100 off . Also some coupons codes NEW50 and NEW30 were working few days ago.

Meru and TFS i havent use . Meru had some 150 off on 1ST app booking and TFS paytm offer of 150 off was going a few days ago.

Of course! It’s crucial otherwise, instead of being appreciated, I will get chastised for introducing him to these cab services. https://cdn3.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_lol.gif

New User offers are fixed! (And limited Too!)
Uber → BEST one MERAEVENTSIND (If a person is using genuinely , then he never gets into trouble with UBER
Ola→ Rs.100 of reffer, So accumlate it in a single account and then enjoy
TFSTFSPAYTM (Or Something like that) Get Rs.150 Credits! (There rates are quite good) , you can get in 150 around 12KM to ride for free! (5AM to 11:59PM)
Other services , NEVER EVEN TRIED!

The fact is I only tried OLA and UBER , and once I started using uber, I got addicted to uber!
Tell them about Surge Pricing
And this→
First Try uberGO , IF it is available , and with no surge pricing , book that!
if not , try TFS , if there hunchback is available , book that!
if not go to ola , and check if there is any surge prcing in olaMINI , if no book that

Always perform the booking in this order only , it will benefit them the most

If they are not that techie peoples, then I would recommend to put 1-2K (If they would ride frequently) in the PayTm wallet , as adding money to the wallet , is quite an irritating thing!

@DealSeeker Even I am a very old user of cabs now and the only new user offer that I am aware of other than the ones mentioned above is MERU150 which gives ₹150 off on Meru cabs for first time app user.

If it helps, for everyday travel in Bangalore this is the increasing order of cab fares currently(without surge and discounts):
0-2km: TFS Nano < UberGo < TFS Hatchback = TFS Sedan < UberX < OLA Mini < OLA Sedan
2-3km: TFS Hatchback < UberGo < TFS Nano < UberX < TFS Sedan < OLA Mini < OLA Sedan
3-5km: TFS Hatchback < UberGo < TFS Nano < UberX < OLA Mini < TFS Sedan < OLA Sedan
5-6km: UberGo < TFS Hatchback < UberX < TFS Nano < OLA Mini < TFS Sedan < OLA Sedan
6-7km: UberGo < UberX < TFS Hatchback < TFS Nano < OLA Mini < TFS Sedan < OLA Sedan
7-9km: UberGo < UberX < TFS Nano < TFS Hatchback < OLA Mini < OLA Sedan < TFS Sedan
9-35km: UberGo < UberX < TFS Nano < OLA Mini < TFS Hatchback < OLA Sedan < TFS Sedan

35+km: UberGo < UberX < TFS Nano < OLA Mini < OLA Sedan < TFS Hatchback < TFS Sedan

In short, Uber rocks here in terms of pricing(when there’s no discounts in other cabs), service and reliability.

Note:
1. I haven’t included Meru or OLA Prime or UberBlack In the above compassion because it’s been a long time since I used Meru and OLA Prime/UberBlack aren’t cost effective.
2. TFS isn’t very reliable, OLA is reliable, Uber is very reliable.
3. Average Bangalore traffic is considered for calculations of non-Airport City rides.

No idea about outstation cabs.

Meru: 1st ride meru150, wallet payment 30% Discount (not sure)
Ola:referral rs 100, app100,next30,sedan25
Tfs:referral rs100, paytm 150 (anyone of both)
Uber : account blocked https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_evil.gif (used trading section user offers)

for ola using referral code, new user gets 100 credits and referrer also gets 100 credits….. on top of that you can use a Rs 200 coupon code on first ride …which amazon gave on amazon value day offer…validity of code is 30th june
link for amazon offer: http://www.desidime.com/forums/hot-deals-online...

for uber …i am not sure if meraeventsind is working or not…
so now the person can use Rs 250 referral code if he wants to travel small distance
or else he can use Rs 400 code from freecharge or tvfplay…or Rs 450 code from lenskart

for tfs …currently referral is only rs 50….so u might wanna wait for some days…as they keep changing referral from 50 to 100(both new user and referrer get 100 tfs credits)
or u can use TFSPAYTM code in wallet and get 150 tfs credits

This post is no more applicable for TFS because TaxiForSure has figured out the mistake of putting both ride time charges and higher per km fares and drastically dropped their prices now. Hatchback has dropped from ₹14/km to ₹6/km and Sedan from ₹16/km to ₹8/km.

Good for within city travel but Airport fares are different and still higher.

Also looks like OLA has removed their ride time charges and gone back to their old model of wait time charges here but with increased amount of free wait time(which I think is 20 mins).

Now OLA and TFS are back to compete with Uber’s prices.

I was wrong about OLA. They are still charging on ride time basis but I don’t understand why the iOS app is showing changed fares than earlier as seen in the screenshot below.
