Hey guys… Flipkart just made me lose my cool. They cancelled 3 orders in a row. Every cancellation mail read… We tried to contact you but you were not available… So we are cancelling your order… Blah blah blah…
I wanted what the REMOVED it’s all about and so called up… The executive told me they suspect I’m a reseller and that’s the reason for cancellations… I was like… WTF!
Honestly on earth, I have only one FK account… Don’t know why… But I never felt like creating more than one… Maybe because of their good service… The only loophole I utilised was those payzippy ones… That too I registered only 4 cards that are there in my family… But even then never made another FK account. Have bought only 5 mobiles and 1 Plasma TV in these 3 years. Most of my orders were books and a few others were apparels.
On what REMOVED basis they say I’m a reseller? I asked the executive why the REMOVED they didn’t tell me this the very first time… Why did they cook up all sorts of rubbish instead… If they had told me I would have simply stopped shopping on FK… She had no answer for that and said the concerned team executive will call me by 6th April to discuss this… I said, in that time I would just make a foreign trip and come back… I said I expected a call from their higher authority in the next 24 hours and cut the call totally disappointed…
Is there something that we can do to show these REMOVED their real place?
Bang them on twitter repeatedly..and also send them them msg on twitter thru DM..
Hope so this helps..
@ DealSeeker
My question is… If they suspected something, why didn’t they just tell me plainly… Why give false reasons for cancellations… If they had done this I would have given them enough proof to show their suspicion baseless… Why sit on my money thrice and then cancel orders… Even now they let this out only because I called up… On top of this, I’m an FF subscriber as well… Really frustrating… When they think there is something wrong, the customer has to be made aware of it immediately… Cooking up lies is not a professional approach…

It’s not about order cancellations… It’s the way they did them and the false reasons they cited… This is a country of headless chickens… The companies can do anything to the customer and get away with it… And we because of our greed, don’t give a damn about all that but keep running behind their REMOVED… Cheap REMOVED we all are!
Duplicate post removed.

Thanks for the link. I get it now. But in my case, none of the items were returned… 3 out of 5 mobiles were delivered to my friends’ addresses. Because I’ve FF and so next day delivery.. Didn’t take money for any of that though FK’s system won’t be aware of it. I don’t cancel orders these days at all. Just returned pants ordered for myself due to size issue… But as our dimers say it’s all because of helping my friends…
@dimernew you may be aware of what Zubies mentioned. So not repeating the same.
First get your money back to your bank account. Then change the email id & the phone no. (both should be virgin new) & you are ready to go. This is the easiest route.
But you can always ask them to reinstate your previous status & it will be a time-consuming one.

Mobile number OK. Can we even change the email ID associated with a FK account?
Will these changes affect my FF subscription in any way?
EDIT : Option available on desktop site. There is still one order pending. I’ll wait for their action and then change them both. Thanks.

No it won’t.
But before doing all these, take written suggestion from Flipkart. They (most probably) will suggest these steps.

Your case was different bro. One of my friends was suggested to follow the same steps. But it’s better to take suggestion directly from Flipkart.

ya bt there r helpless https://www.facebook.com/flipkart/posts/1015308...
Flipkart did this to me once by cancelling an order worth 65k a day before big billion day sale. I was very upset coz they literally blocked the credit limit of one of mycredit cards.when I questioned them regarding cancellation, Initially most of the executives were giving vague replies. One of the supervisor spilled the beans. He informed me that Flipkart suspected that I’m a reseller .After 2 days they removed the restrictions on my account and apologized for their mistake. They credited my wallet with 2k as compensation. I would suggest you to be calm and speak to some high authority at Flipkart. Hurling abuses online or over the phone is not going to take you anywhere. At the end of the day if Flipkart decides they don’t want you as customer, there is nothing you can do other than to sulk it up.
So, this is a very rampant issue. Hmm…
Does anyone have the mail id of FK’s customer service manager?
Please help me find it. I’ll write to him / her how I think this issue could be addressed rather than the crude approach they are making right now.
Flipkart twitter support staffs are much more helpful and equipped to deal with complex issues. I would suggest you to tweet them first. Once you receive a call from them, try to explain your situation to the rep and in case he does not help, ask for a manager.Usually the rep might hand over the call to a floor support person , ensure to ask for his credentials before you discuss the issue with them ( This gives them a feeling that you are serious about pursuing the matter).
In my case, floor supervisor was a very helpful and he also explained why flipkart’s system flagged me a re-seller. It was because i ordered 4-5 pen drives from the same account in quick succession. Flipkart has some system in place to detect suspicious account. My problem was sorted out in 2 days and they were kind enough to credit 2k as compensation for the miss from their end. I do have a long standing flipkart account with hundreds of orders in last 6 years. I started buying from them when they just use to sell books. I still remember those excellent phone support staffs who went that extra mile to make sure you are satisfied. Situation now is an absolute contrast with untrained staff ruling the roost.
I’m gonna get on their nerves after I get my money back
Someone must be having contact details of any higher authority there. It would be great if they could help me with it.
It’s not about my issue alone. Even if I change my credentials, what is the guarantee that this won’t happen again? They need to make a few changes about how they address this issue… That way I can make sure that genuine buyers are not affected any longer. I believe I could suggest something better.
Oh really bcoz of suspicious Reseller a/c !
My Friend has a shop and he transacts every month atleast 2-3lakhs ( Computer & Comouter Peripherals ) !
They should have banned him First i guess

I called them up again. This time spoke to their team supervisor. I got really confused because he told me my account was not flagged as a reseller account and he had no idea why their executive said so last night. As for cancellations, it happened because they suspected misuse of my account as all of them were prepaid orders. When I asked why they didn’t contact me to confirm the same he just apologised. He told me to mail them stating the orders were for placed by myself and there’s no problem if they processed them.
I asked for their manager’s mail id. He told me to write to escalation @ flipkart . com as it will be perused by their higher authority. I don’t know what to make of these conflicting reasonings.
ya flopkart is providing 3rd class service now a days !!

It’s only because of such people that genuine buyers are affected… But the irony is they don’t get into any trouble…
Bro, as you must be aware, enough users make a joke out of the policies and T&Cs of Flipkart and other such ecommerce companies. These companies have been able to bear the loss because of continual VC funding. But now that things have started to stabilize and the market is at its competitive best, they must have put stricter automated checks in place. And your account must have been incorrectly flagged. Please don’t get so upset and take this personally.
Contact them on Twitter or FB and be patient. As you say, you didn’t buy a lot of stuff, so once an actual person with the right authority looks at your account, they will fix the problem for you.
