Is This True???? – Paytm set to open its Bank next year, to offer 14.50% interest rate on Savings Account
The e-commerce payment platform Paytm will soon be opening the brick-and-motor banking institution in India. The information has from our close sources who says that Paytm bank will be open as early as next year. The Indian e-commerce website was granted payment bank license by RBI only last year along with 10 other entities like Reliance Industries, Vodafone, Airtel and a few more.

Yes It is true. It has already got the licence for opening banks by RBI. About 14% interest rate, it’s almost impossible to give that much return on a saving account.

The interest will be in given Paytm wallet and would rather be called ‘cashback’. Don’t worry they would bridge the gap just like they did with actual ‘discount’ and cashback. Janta would not even notice the deference between actual money saved and virtual money. #JustKidding
