According to me, there are 2 types of deals : -
1) Good Deal 2) Loot Deal
Now, good deal usually are like the current FPDs on homepage. They are good deals, maybe if you stumble upon, you will buy it and also share it on DD so that other can buy too and get the discount!
Loot deal is something that it is very lucrative and unbelievable! It is usually so good that if shared in public, it will expire in very less time.
There is always a dilemma whether to share a loot deal publicly or not. I know that many will say that I am selfish but I don’t usually share loot deals so that I can continue the benefit that I get from that deal for as long as possible.
I am not doing it as I don’t want others to benefit, but I am doing it as I want to benefit for a longer period which won’t be possible if I share it publicly.
Let me give you all an example :
Just day before, there was a coupon of payumoney shared here on Desidime – " ADANI50 "
The OP said that the coupon is 50 off on 150, while in fact it was 50 flat off. It was also working before 21st May ( I got to know the coupon on 21st May).
The source of the coupon was : You pay Adani gas bill through payumoney and you will get the coupon. As adani gas grid is only in Ahmedabad, many few were knowing about this coupon. I got the coupon and saw there was no minimum purchase mentioned. Thus, i tried it on 60 rs, 50 rs and even 40 rs..for 60 rs, i had to pay only 10 rs and there was no payment required for 50 rs or below value.
From 21st May, I was almost using this coupon daily : on foodpanda, dominos, bms etc..
I have few rest. of foodpanda in my city who accept 100 rs pickup/delivery..thus, combining with 50% off coupon of foodpanda and 50 off adani50 coupon, i was ordering for free. I usually had 5-6 orders combined and had a pickup. Daily family dinner was usually ordered through foodpanda/dominos since last 1.5 months. (Few rest. were having healthy options like cut fruits, juices, shakes etc which also helped us in keeping our health good)
Similarly, few multiplex had around 60 rs tickets for morning weekdays shows..thus, i would book tickets for BMS etc for family/friends.
Thus, I got benefit of this coupon for 1.5 months. This coupon was shared on DD on 8th July and today this coupon is expired by Payumoney. (please check if still working..i have checked and it is not working now)
The point is I feel sorry that I was not able to share the coupon 1.5 months back but on the other hand I won’t be able to enjoy the benefits for this long period.

1. why such loots are blocked?
ans= not primarily because we loot in excess. but because the victim ( payumoney etc) comes to know since it is posted in public domain
2. we can make such loots stay longer if we dont share such “loots” in public domain.
3. so i request @admin and @bumblefoot to introduce the trick tag as was used in ff to hide tricks from unauthorised agents who expose on public domain .
by using this trick tag we can effectively limit the visibility of the text in the trick tag depending on the karma level as set like

There are people here who have looted iPhones and laptops in throw away prices. Now what would you say? Personally, I have looted thousands of worth of supplements. But, I didn’t share here even after the products were in stock after my looting because DD had suspended my earlier account. Almost everyone come across some deals which are too precious to share publicly. But, that’s not worth bragging.

VU. No further comments, but that I understand where you’re coming from (and that reading this made me a bit worried about the fate of FK’s PayU coupons
