Hello Dimers, https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif

i recently bought HTC desire V .:-D

Now i am in a dilemma which memory card should i buy ??:-? https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_confused.gif

I read various blogs , some say class 6 is better as class 10 will slow down the phone .

also , what i know that be it 16 or 32 gb , it wont hamper or enhance the performance ..

Techno Dimers , please someone throw some light on this issue ??

class 6 – data transfer rate of 6mbps
class 10- data transfer rate of 10mbps

from my experience, it hasn’t slowed it down on the xperia. there is good deal posted by oli in the hot deals section for 64gb class 10….u can try that too https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_toungueout.gif . Here is a good pic I came across-

For mobile phone, class 6 would be enough. Class10 would be overkill.

You got an expensive phone then why wait for a cheaper deal on 32gb memory card to save 100 bucks?

if you keep waiting the prices will eventually fall during Diwali… why wait till then. Just go ahead and buy if you want it now.

for ordinary feature phones class 2 or class 4 really doesn’t matter because the mobiles might not be able to write on those speeds. But when it comes to high end phones and digicams they certainly can handle higher speeds.

Got the class funda cleared on this thread. just to chip in some more gyan.

Question is why go for the highest speed memory card.
1) writing mp3 files to the memory card from PC would be faster.
2) camera will be ready for the next high resolution shot quicker.
3) video recording bandwidth bottle neck will be reduced.
4) can help windows 7 ReadyBoost to work faster.
