Its my personal experience on Ebay….

Keep using your main account for most of the transactions as it’ll lead ebay to provide you High valued coupons.

And second things is keep using two three accounts on ebay already registered and make sure that email ids are new and carrying a Facebook account and EbayIndia Page must be liked by it.

And regarding multiple transactions etc.. to prevent from being caught…make sure you delete all your cookies after each successful transaction.

Please be careful when you borrow someone’s Id for a discount …Cause there are chances to misplace the order.

To avoid selling to a wrong person is very very difficult. Basically every thing works on trust and seller is always at risk. Buyer must confirm to ebay that he has received the item , than only seller will get the payment. Even if buyer confirms that he has received the item but claims that item is different from what the listing states or item is damaged or item is wrong , etc……….your payment will go in dispute. Paisapay will decide the outcome of the dispute but mostly it will go in favour of the seller. Worst scenario will be that buyer will be asked to return the shipment back to the seller and of coarse seller will have to pay the shipping charges.
If by chance shipment is lost or misplaced or any fraud buyer claims that he has not received ( though very very rare ) , again seller will have headache to fight it out with courier company , arranging POD ( proof of delivery ) , etc. Ebay takes on own sweet time to resolve all disputes and buyer gets ample time limit to reply every queries which is another pain.
I am selling on ebay from few years and have been cheated once but amount involved was small. Buyer said he is not satisfied with the item so I just asked ebay to make the refund. I suggest not to sell expensive items on ebay. Though ebay is not stupid and also understands where buyer might be wrong and 2nd dispute opened by the same buyer will be entertained with more caution but most frauds are done by multi account holders who do not care about there particular account and disappear after making 1-2 transactions. Even no gaurantee that first fraud also wouldn’t be detected by ebay and buyer will loose the dispute but it might be a time consuming process and your payment will be on hold till the decision is made.
If selling more than Rs.1000 item , I suggest to check number of transactions made by the buyer ( I normally consider over 15-20 transactions as safe ) till date and his feedbacks before shipping the item. If buyer is new and item is expensive , I will avoid shipping and give refund but buyer might give negative feedback which is not good for any seller’s image. Actually you can also phone the buyer asking him which courier will be good for shipping to his city / does buyer require any kind of Invoice , etc before shipment and get some idea by the way he/she talks.

1. buildabazaar.com which charge 6-8% commission+Rs.500 monthly fee for basic account. They have other plans too with less comission fee but higher monthly fee.

2. Use OLX.com and Quickr.com to avoid all kinds of high fee and directly deal with buyer

3. Buy a domain and use free cart software such as http://www.prestasho…m/

I am avoiding eBay at all costs because they act like big bullies to sellers and suspend their accounts without giving reasons and block their remittance. eBay is the most seller unfriendly site.

Kage bro it seems you read my mind. Even I was in same dilemma and decided to give ebay a miss after seeing their stupid pricing and all the benefits go to the buyers nothing much for sellers.

I was contacted by Buildabazaar and even created one free shop but somehow its not upto my liking.
Guys I have an idea if we form a group together then we can start our own store.
And so far I got the best offer from Martjack and they are all in one solution as they take care of everything from domain to shop & payment gateway to courier tie-up. And they are very reasonable too.
Give your thoughts on this guy.

i don’t know whether my suggestion would be right or not. but if we create our personal domain and sell our personal things with tieing up with couriers then how it would be guyz? I think our freedom will be kept by this.

Even i was planning to sell some items on ebay. Can anyone provide me in details wht are the chrgs to be paid to ebay for listing and how is the complete process from listing to shipping n receiving payment in ur a/c?
Like suppose i wanna sell a mouse which i got for says 50 bucks then for listing this item wht ebay chrgs? wht will be min or flat courier chrgs that i hav to add to this item before listing? Any hidden chrgs or in total wht is the amt that i hav to pay ebay for selling this 50 bucks product?
