Does anyone know how to fix this LCD panel back into its slot? Moto E’s LCD panel is swinging like a Wallet.
Also, can I stuff Foreign Currency Notes in it and smuggle? That ways I can sell it off to some smuggler going abroad.
Curse you Motorola & Flipkart for giving me this faulty piece. Rot in Hell. From day 1, its been a faulty piece but Flipkart neither exchanged nor returned this. Now this LCD started swinging too. Kisi ke paas Quick-fix hai toh bataao. Jaldi..
@Plato use fevikwik

Fevikwik!
Why do u want to stuff currency better stuff gold in it. See to it that u remove the circuit and battery from inside to make space and also it doesnt become unusually heavy. Dont use fevikwik but a industrial grade glue.
For more ideas pm me. But consultation wont b for free
@Plato buy here your part &fix instantly
Motorola is going the way of lenovo i.e. cheap chinese $*
Sad days ahead for us, their dumping has just begun, our greedy babus take bribe & letting lots of these (fake) items enter duty free
This isn’t fake (item) per se but the dumping is very real & concerning for our local industry, not to mention aided by Chinese govt through insane subsidies!
Flipkart’s return/exchange has been worst since the return items scam, they used to just approve exchange/refund without any questions but everything has been changed now-a-days
And the tech-experts who are assigned for return requests are a bunch of morons they dont even know about the device infact any device and they are assigned to judge our issues haha
In US, we can even return the items if we are not satisfied with the devices but i guess if e-commerce sites starts implementing them, they will be looted for sure here

May be this is one of the few faulty devices
I have personally used lots of moto devices including two moto e 2nd gen devices for a period of 8 months and they are quite sturdy
Motorola service is not good ….They Contracted to Local shops for repairing
use quikfix or fevikwik or shipping it to me will buy at Rs 200 and pay shipping charges

Oh for sure Moto is better than Lenovo, almost always, but with the latter being its parent company they are cutting large corners & this’ll likely bring Moto’s image & quality down quite a few notches. Not to mention the horrible returns/replacement saga that many Indians face, even when the product is under warranty!

May be they have other ways to loot
Few things work for few countries and i have been part of US deal website too but trick threads, trading stuff are kinda rare over there
Most of them from that website are eBay resellers unlike us, they just buy for cheap and sell on eBay and i dont think they should care about returns n all

No, but we’re like penny wise and pound foolish
This is changing of course, as can be seen with the success of Amazon here, also the reason why I think Paytm will not be as successful/big as they’re (Alibaba) hoping it’d be. Indians, in recent times, are more than willing to pay for quality & especially after sales service

This is moto e2. I have black color one too, bought from Amazon at 4600. That one is working fine. Both are new, under warranty period but service centre is horrible. They kept me waiting for some “unknown” part for 10 days but did not fix it up at all. And now all of a sudden this screen started swinging to one-side. Will definitely sell it after getting it repaired.
@Plato lol bro nice wallet … what was the reason gave by flipkart when you asked for replacement??

Problem i was facing was it was automatically deleting apps. and volume and brightness was going up and down automatically.
On first call they said update the mobile software and check if any patch file is corrupted. I did that. then after waiting for 3 days, they said download a software for them to remote check. I did that. They reported it was fine and closed the case.
Again same problem cropped up and they said they will replace. But they kept repeating this process and I finally asked them for service centre. In service centre, they updated ( I dont know what new, as I already had updated it OTA) and it worked ok for sometime. But after 20 days or so, its speaker gave way. Again I went to service centre. Phone remained with them for 15 days but earphone top volume is not clearly audible as before and now this happened.
Thats why I keep telling everyone not to buy E2.
