Note to admin ! regional Language allowed or not ???

Hindi a regional language ? Who said this?

Your view can be accepted as a suggestion but you can not compel others to post in English.

Aryan, I am a non Native Hindi speaker myself and I still don’t subscribe to this guys ways of getting attention to a petty issue wherein he could have had amicably solved the situation by PMing either of the Mods or the Admin about it instead of spamming the hot deals online section.

Anbullavan, It’s a free country but I guess the intention is more important here…..FYI, there is a Telugu thread in Dost and Dimes section and for me personally it’s gets really tough and annoying sometimes to monitor the forum wherein we have the same trouble as you seem to face with the language Hindi…… but we don’t get so agitated and irritated REMOVED ….coz there is enough room for all on DD I believe and I personally believe in Co-Existence than complete annihilation …….. but what you went about doing here will definitely not help your cause gain any momentum or impetus of any kind. It will only make us ignore it all the more coz of the methods employed by you to get around it makes it all the more disgusting you know….. you follow the protocol on DD and definitely there is almost all the chances that you will ultimately have it your way….. but those threads won’t sit down well with most of the members of the forum and would instead create more hostility and hatred on the forum… hence the necessary steps have been taken keeping in mind the best interests of the forum.

Creating unnecessary havoc won’t solve your case as admin has clearly stated that english or hindi can be used as preferred mode of language. Desidime is almost 2 years old and everyone other than you are happy with method of communication. The issue of posting with translation started as few telegu speaking guys started using telegu everywhere and making deal threads look of different planet. Even those who know hindi/malayalam/tamil/bengali were unable to understand what these guys were talking and hence came the rule. But in past 2 years a small use of hindi was never being objected other than by you. There is difference in little use and chitchat. Those guys cause of whom request by admin on posting either in hindi or english (please note hindi or english) came were fluently chitchatting in deals threads. Instead of doing destructive work of creating language barrier like politicians do, try to do constructive for DesiDime. Now carry on with your trolling.

If schools in south do not teach hindi you can not conclude it as regional, its shame we feel proud in talking and flaunting english where our mother tongue is Hindi.

Sorry no offense meant and not here to open any argument or fights, just my view. Ignore it if you do not like it.

If rule is same for everyone, let all language co-exist as in our country!

Let Admin elect some new talented, dedicated Moderators who has good administrative talent and patient to deal with multiple language, if the policy is ‘Co-Existence than complete annihilation’
Nobody has any reason to get so agitated and irritated with a thread in Dost and Dimes section with thread heading ‘welcoming Telugu Dimers’.

It is really funny, why that person want to moderate a thread in a language which he doesn’t have a good hold.

May be this is the reason, he is not given ‘Moderator’ status in Dost and Dimes.

If ‘Co-Existence than complete annihilation’ can hold good for Hindi, why not for other languages!

Why annihilate other languages leaving a regional language Hindi, make it only English Forum.

till date I have a huge respect for u buddy…. i didnt expected you to be a REMOVED …. hope u will never ever keep ur finger in that….REMOVED…… I am still not able to understand what made u to feel like that….. there were many people who entered that thread who don’t even know telugu but still everyone are treated warmly by everyone over there…..

You have a right to ask a question… and there is a section for that… u do not have the right to spam, I hope we have sorted ur doubt now…

So conclusion stands that even if you dont know ENGLISH you can still be a proud Indian (because some intelligent guys here feel HINDI as a reigonal langage) but to be a proud desidimer one needs to know ENGLISH and only ENGLISH.

I humbly welcome admin to to take any necessary action which they deem to be fit if for them by me NOT ACCEPTING Hindi as a regional language is violation of forum rules, Hindi is our MOTHER TOUNGE and we must show little respect to say the least by not calling it regional to suit their convenience.

Hello Everybody,

I opened this thread and was seeing all the comments pouring here..But actually didn’t try to comment on anything since i was very upset with the way i was answered in the past by DD admins( What the heck its my feelings). Today some how i felt like i should say sumthing (May be the beer i had ??) otherwise people will think that i was a puppet .

Guys as i have explained you before i’m not against any language here neither a supporter. All i wanted is one unique language across the forum. Does it bad? Is there any problem in that.. Was it against DD? or degrading it in any way?
You can ask me what is the problem here in having Hindi also… Friends since most of the people who are here and almost all the admins knows hindi .. doesn’t mean the minority Hindi unknown guys request should be ignored?? isn’t it?

DD admin guys.. You can say that you were running the website for the past two years without this issue.. C’mon guys.. you are growing !! That’s teh problem here.. DD has crossed the regional and being read by people all over India… Wont it.. Then you should also grow along with your base.. Form new rules.. adapt to your different linguistic members.. and understand people like me love DD and thats y making this as issue.
And my final answer to the people whoever say Hindi Language is not regional.. Guys since you love a language most doesnt mean that the world is speaking yours.. Chinese is a well spread language compared to Hindi and you know for most part of teh world it is considered as regional.. I’m not ready to argue with you people, Because Those who have broad minded can understand my point and i least care about others !!

Did you mean, other Indian languages apart from Hindi are not allowed to post with translation?
Please clarify this. If so, please clarify if this is something approved by your company or at this point point of time, it is your individual views.

In my opinion, you need to treat every Indian language equally, otherwise you are causing serious damage to the country. And I will be taking some serious decisions and actions depending on your answer including quitting this forum.

The kind of responses and languages used in this thread is another example of how we Indians are divided. When one cannot respect others language, how could the one expects a respect for his language. One should just spent few moments in others shoes, think and post his views. Again, you cannot expect respect while you hating others.
